As Lyanna's mite season drew to a close, she made the bold decision to join the @njjetsgirls for full ice hockey. After checking them out and doing some tune up skates, she was still uncertain about leaving her old rink behind. But in the end, she chose to stick with the Jets Girls, and it was an incredible decision. I was thrilled to watch her grow as a player, boost her hockey IQ, and make some clever plays (and a few not-so-clever ones 😂). And, of course, scoring a few goals was the icing on the cake! As a parent, it was heartwarming to see the whole team improve and form strong bonds. They may not have won every game, but the victories they did have were all the more meaningful. Lyanna spent some time in the penalty box 😂.
I'm excited to see her continue to up her game. #lyannae #girlswhoplayhockey by @cassie2187

reflecting back on this dude's first ice hockey season. Part way thru the season he joined a 6u team & immediately got to work. He managed to score some goals & assists. He fell in love with the net, he has had some amazing saves, he doesn't get discouraged if a puck goes in, he shakes it off and gets to focusing on the next shift. I absolutely cannot wait to see him up his game as a goalie. #endertheo #tinytendies #hockeykid by @cassie2187
