POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Audiobooks make up about half, if not more, of my reading goal each year. Here are some of my favorites but also some latest listens ➡️

⛸️ The Favorites by @laynefargo is one I ALWAYS recommend because I love the real-feeling commentary from the full cast of figure skating judges

🪰 Fruit Fly by @joshsilverauthor quickly made its way to a top recommendation with the immersive narration

It’s almost @yallfest time! Some latest audio listens & recommendations

To Dream in Darkness by @annliangwrites releases Oct. 27th so make sure you grab this audio before YALLFest!

- Legendborn Cycle by @tracydeonn
- Shatter Me Series by @tahereh
- Fake Skating by @lynnpainterbooks

(ALC for To Dream in Darkness from @macmillan.audio 🫶 #macaudio2026) #smpearlyreaders

Banter & dialogue that actually feels real!

Love is a War Song by @danica_nava: This isn’t how I thought singer x Cowboy would go (and it’s better) because of the meaningful journey the FMC goes on to find out more about herself & her family.

- Star Shipped by @catswrites
- 32 Days in May by @bettycorrello

The Poison Daughter (by @sheilareadsandwrites) deluxe hardcover is a stunner but so is the audiobook 😉

Kicking my feet and giggling with MMCs who grovel, obviously

- Winging It With You by @booksovrbros
- Out of Her League by @authoravarani
- Crash Test by @amyjamesbooks

(ALC of Out of Her League was from @harperaudio / @avonbooks 😘) by @cassiegreycantread

Fall is approaching, or at least false fall here in Charleston, and I’m ready to settle in with my book and other hobbies.

I’m starting Broken Rival by @tessabaileyisanauthor (thank you @avonbooks) which I’m so grateful even have in my hands a little early 😌 by @cassiegreycantread

a few of my favorite stops to cater to some hobbies and must-needs

A few years ago I decided that, for me, self care included keeping fresh flowers in the house!

Other things I needed (yes, NEEDED) was a new release from @thearchivechs, and some threads that turned into also buying a new canvas from @lowcountryneedlepoint

If I can catch them in the morning, my latest obsession has been an iced Molly from @rambler_coffee and I’ve gone twice this week 😅 taken in Charleston, South Carolina by @cassiegreycantread

Grim Tidings is out today 💜

Was thinking I needed a new (signed) book and to get a head start on the fall drink menu at @thearchivechs.. and it made for a great first stop of the day 📚 by @cassiegreycantread

Not my normal book content, but local Charleston spots all the same and this is one of my favs. Bella Mack is the place I always recommend to people for permanent jewelry but there’s so much more to look at!

I took some beads, gems, and a necklace repair/refurb to @bellamackjewelry for some customization.

I have never really customized anything aside from adding charms to necklaces so this was fun to start with a string of beads or loose stones

Molly knocked this out of the park. All of the pieces are STUNNING. I fear this will not be the last time I’m bring in a sandwhich bag (lol) of ideas taken in Charleston, South Carolina by @cassiegreycantread

If you’re looking for a fast-paced cold case mystery, you have to check out Lilac by @a.a.bartonauthor!

As someone who doesn’t typically read this genre, I couldn’t put it down!

Loved attending the Meet the Author event hosted by @thehiddenhousechs, with @reesesbookclub Charleston City chapter joining in. 📚✨

I can’t waaaaait to read But I Hate Him by @pagepowars!

@fiercereads was so kind to invite me to an event the night before BookCon and hearing about this upcoming book, and then feeling like I was seeing promo for it everywhere.. a girl loves her enemies and her enemies love their lovers ok??

But I Hate You hits shelves on Aug 25th

Thanks so much @fiercereads & @macmillanusa for this finished copy!

PS.
Wish I could be fun and cute filming a book mail video but it’s 100 degrees here..

Dolly All the Time is truly the ultimate beach or pool read.

Going into this, I thought it was just a summer read everyone enjoyed sure.. but I didn’t expect to absolutely fall in love with this one!!

This is a book that would captivate a wide range of readers, in my opinion. From more literary fiction leaning to the bodice ripping readers: it’s hard to resist the genuine connection the main characters have

and If you’re at least in South Carolina, it’ll be summer for quite a bit longer so it’s time to run out and grab this book!! 🌊🏖️ by @cassiegreycantread
