To know me is to know about the special bond I shared with my Omar.

I believe we’re all disco balls. We are a mosaic of passions, memories, and fragments borrowed from the people we love, and from those who love us. I am exactly who I am because of my Omar. Most of my lil mosaic is simply a reflection of her.

Having only one grandparent never felt like a loss. Her love was so unwavering, so boundless, that nothing ever felt missing.

Not a mummy or daddy’s girl but an Omar’s girl from the very beginning

Ommie, I love you with my whole heart and soul. This is the most heartbreaking moment of my life and I will miss you for forever and ever.

Enjoy the clouds Omar, I know how much you were looking forward to being up there with them ☁️🤍 by @cassiespovv
