When the sun is blackened away, will you look to the light within?❤️‍🔥🖤

This painting feels fitting to share again on this annular solar eclipse.

I knew this one would personally be felt very deeply, as it is at its darkest in my 12th House and perfectly squaring my 8th House Saturn. It is harsh, stern, private, concealed, boundaried.

I have been having a reckoning with how I show up in life, in business, interpersonally, as a woman, as an artist

And I am profoundly dissatisfied.

Saturn and Neptune have been transiting my Ascendant for years now in the last decan of Pisces, and as they dance together at this first degree of Aries now I finally feel more clear.

Most of you saw a glow-up. I felt a dissolving of boundaries, a drainage of my life force.

I’m looking forward to spending the next couple of weeks through this eclipse portal pouring back into myself, my craft, my soul, my life.

As a Scorpio with a very harsh 28° Saturn in the same sign and Pluto-Sun conjunction, the greatest lesson I can learn is to not wait for external circumstances to reduce me to ash so that I may rise from the ashes…but to strike the match myself.

Scorpio’s ultimate test is the internal and willful Phoenix moment. As fixed water we tend to stay in circumstances long past their expiration out of comfort.

Comfort kills. I accept this call for an intrinsic willingness to change, on my terms, before the push of fate.

I have spent 40 years getting to this point against my will, getting upset about it, and now I get to rebuild myself. On my own terms. From what a darkened sun has revealed.
