CASSON is a finely curated and design-focused hardware and design specialties company for architects, interior designers, builders, and homeowners.

Our company was founded in 2017 by architects Megan Cassidy and Jane Son (pictured here), who met on their first day of Architecture school at the University of Toronto.

Our motto is multum in parvo: much in little. We believe great design begins with attention to the fine details.

With a design professional’s eye and knowledge, we showcase collections from suppliers and fabricators from around the globe. Each piece is sourced with quality and design in mind. Every object, door number, hook, and handle at Casson is carefully selected with an eye for craft and detail.

In addition to our online retail shop, we offer a trade program with design and project-related support. by @cassonhardware

NEBRA

Illuminate your surroundings with this elegantly pleated pendant lamp, casting a gentle, diffused glow. Here, the art of minimalism meets the essence of functionality, that transforms your space with a soft presence of light and form.

We recently installed it in our own studio and love its transformative pleated beauty.

Canada is defined by its landscapes, but also by the people who shape them.

At Casson, we’re proud to call Canada home and to partner with designers, makers, and manufacturers who share a commitment to thoughtful design, enduring quality, and exceptional craftsmanship.

We believe the details we interact with every day deserve the same consideration as the spaces they inhabit. It’s those finishing touches—the hardware you hold, the switch you press, the light that welcomes you home—that quietly shape our daily experience.

Happy Canada Day from all of us at Casson Hardware. We will be closed July 1st 🇨🇦

“Invisible” switches… but with PAINT this time 👇
…
We showed these @forbesandlomax switches with wallpaper and you all immediately asked how they’d look painted—so here it is.
…
Same installation method—just paint the wall and the plate so everything blends together.
Result: not actually invisible, but a big upgrade over basic wall plates.
…
It’s a small detail, but it makes a space feel way more high-end… probably because the switch costs a lot.

New Kids on the Block. Gavi, Iris, Luis, and Noor hooks. Minimal yet sculptural, these hooks serve as both a functional object and a quiet architectural detail in the space. With concealed mounting and no visible hardware, it sits seamlessly against the wall, reinforcing the purity of the form.
