The music, animatronics and the smell of that water fully immerse you. 🐸

You wait in anticipation of the big drop. You don’t know when it happens.

Then you hit THREE fake drops that make you think THIS is the big one…

Until the actual mountain launch…

One minute you’re living your best bayou life, next the bayou says, “hold my beignets,” and you’re launched off the side of the mountain. 💦

Pro Tip: If you don’t like getting soaked request the back row. You get a lot less wet here.

The REAL first ride of every Disney trip isn’t Space Mountain… it’s the MCO tram doing the most with zero effort 😂!

Zero fireworks, zero merch (except for the Disney store in the airport), but somehow maximum magic.

Who else gets stupid excited on that lil’ airport tram? Tag your travel buddy who loses it every time the doors close!

We didn’t think they were real… until the Haunted Mansion Parlor on the Disney Treasure.

Right in the middle of the lounge is an aquarium full of skeletal ghost fish actually swimming. It’s a 60-year-old unused Imagineering idea from Rolly Crump that they finally built.

Look close and you’ll see tiny tombstones with names like Gilly, Bubbles, and Ol’ Bobby. The story? The sea captain vanished after dinner with his mermaid bride… and the only thing left was his hat floating in the tank.

Go as soon as you board. Sit, stare, and try not to get chills. If you dare watch for the ghost fish it will@leave you asking “how in the world did they do that?!”

Starting November 25, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT is swapping its iconic playlist for THREE Christmas songs! 🎄✨

🎶 The new holiday lineup:

🎅 “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” — Andy Williams

🎸 “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24” — Trans-Siberian Orchestra

And the worst part? I’m ALWAYS the one saying yes.

55 years ago today, the gates to Walt Disney World opened for the very first time. 🏰✨

But Walt never got to walk through them.

He dared to dream of something bigger than Disneyland—a place with enough room for all the ideas still in his imagination. He bought acres of Florida land and dreamed of what could be.

Then, in 1966, Walt passed away before he could see that dream become real.

And that’s where his brother Roy stepped in. 🤍

Roy had been ready to retire, but instead, he stayed to finish what his brother started. On October 1, 1971, Walt Disney World opened its gates—and Roy made sure the world knew exactly whose dream it had been by insisting it be called Walt Disney World.

There’s something about that story that makes walking down Main Street, U.S.A. feel a little different.

Every view of Cinderella Castle. Every ride on the monorail. Every child seeing Mickey for the first time. Every family saying, “Remember when we…”

It all began because one man dared to dream—and a brother loved him enough to see that dream through. 🥹✨

55 years later, millions of us are still making memories inside Walt’s dream.

And maybe that’s the real magic of Walt Disney World.

Dreams can outlive us.
Love can carry them forward.
And sometimes, something imagined by one person can become a place that feels like home to generations. 🤍

Happy 55th Anniversary, Walt Disney World. 🏰

Here’s to the dreamer who imagined it, the brother who finished it, and every bit of magic still waiting for us just beyond those gates.

The hangar doors open and suddenly we’re questioning everything. Are the stormtroopers real?? Some of them move. Some of them don’t. And Disney has absolutely planted live ones in that lineup before. 50 troopers. 65 animatronics. Original movie voices. C’mon, admit it, you’ve wondered the same thing. Save this if you’re riding Rise. Comment if you’ve ever locked eyes with one and thought “oh no.”

Fun fact: that hangar has about 50 stormtroopers — a mix of statues, animatronics that actually move, and sometimes live First Order troopers planted in the line. Plus the ride has 65 animatronics total and original film voices (Rey, Finn, Kylo, Hux). You’re not imagining it. The First Order is extra.

From the second you walk into the Grand Hall, you’re surrounded by this rich, deep blue that feels like the night sky over Agrabah, layered with warm golds that catch every bit of light. The gilded details, the intricate tilework, the lush greens woven through the carpets… it’s all so intentional and breathtaking. Disney Cruise Line 🚢 outdid themselves again.

Walt’s love of adventure is woven into every corner. The colors feel both luxurious and full of story — blues that pull you in, golds that make everything feel precious, soft greens that soften the grandeur. The bronze statue of Aladdin and Jasmine on the Magic Carpet, the glowing lantern-like chandelier, the tiny details hidden in the carpet (Abu, the scarab, Jasmine’s birds)… it’s the kind of design that makes you stop walking just to stare.

It’s not just pretty. It’s immersive. Every surface feels like it was designed to make you feel like you’re part of the story.

The Disney Treasure doesn’t just sail — it glows. And once you’ve stood in that atrium, you understand why people call it breathtaking. 🧞
