During a recent trip to Salt Lake City, Utah to see an alumni wedding, had the chance to get dinner with a couple of other alums…Matt Couture, who graduated in 2017 and Nate Hazen, who just graduated in May. Both Matt and Nate had excellent racing careers at Castleton. Matt was part of the team that started our team success at the USCSA Nationals when we finished on the podium for the first time, while Nate has also been part of national team podiums and national championships. Both of these guys earned multiple USCSA All-American Honors, made us proud, and are missed. They continue to make us proud, as Matt is now teaching Physics and Chemistry at The Winter Sports School, while Nate is a full-time coach at Rowmark Academy. taken in Salt Lake City, Utah by @castletonalpineskiing
