This one’s been sitting on the backburner for so long, finally had some time to knock it out. Kept it simple but might add some shading to him. If you haven’t figured it out by now, cartoons are my passion, I love drawing and reimagining different characters. This little dude is from the movie Bebe’s Kids, I just put my own little spin on him. Khalil is a little badass. Should I do the rest of the bunch?

I miss drawing in pencil, it’s been a while. I do a lot of digital work now. Need to get back to the fundamentals and just have some fun sketching again. Would you guys like to see more pencil sketches? This is as done in prismacolor blue pencil. ✏️

After watching the @michaelmovie a couple of weeks ago, it brought back so many emotions. It was a beautiful movie and @jaafarjackson brought his uncle back to life in a way we could only imagine. We all knew him by his music and of course superstardom and tabloids, but we never got to see this side of him, his creative side, his pain, his loneliness. I think we can all relate a little bit if not almost entirely.

I was a huge MJ fan as a kid, I remember dancing like him, wanting to dress like him. What can I say, I was a child of the 80’s, he still to this day holds a special place in my heart. That movie triggered me a few times. And the music, oh man, it was just a great experience that had the whole theater jumping.

Here is the 4ft x 5ft original acrylic/mixed media painting, titled “Leave Me Alone” I did for a @michaeljackson art show, celebrating the life of the King of Pop after his passing. It has been in my possession ever since and I am asking $2500 shipped or we can arrange pickup/delivery if local. This is a one of a kind piece, I don’t paint as often as I would like to, so this is a rare piece of mine for sale and is stil available.

The painting is called “Leave Me Alone” and has MJ and his pet monkey Bubbles riding in the rocket ship he is seen in the Leave Me Alone video, the scenery is purple clouds with bombs being dropped from the sky. Michael is in his iconic thriller makeup and jacket because it is a Big Daddy Roth inspired piece that has them flying through the sky. Michael’s glove is painted and has hand placed crystals to make it sparkle.

Thanks for looking and sharing!

A mixture of old pencil and digital sketches… I need to get back to doing what I love, just raw art and character designs, this is what I really enjoy doing.

With the rise of AI, it’s unavoidable to see everything starting to look the same. I don’t need AI to do that part for me because I really love creating art and drawing toons.

I’m sure my childhood of watching cartoons every morning and after school has a lot to do with that. Now I like to put my own spin on them. I’m still just a big ass kid trying to just get through life and have a good time watching anime and classic toons! by @castro13art

The 2026 @diecastsupercon Las Vegas is now in the rearview. This year was a blast, we had a booth, showing off some of our latest @maistotoys and @bburagousa_official offerings. It was awesome to have a spot for fans to find us and chat it up with our design and sales team. Here is my signing sheet art, we all blew through these, I might have saved a small handful. by @castro13art
