new river gorge ⛰️🌀✨
my first solo trip of the 2026 season was absolutely beautiful! it was so nice to celebrate earth day in the mountains of west virginia 😌 this trip was so nostalgic for me, one of the hikes i did was a 9 mile trail that followed right next to glade creek & so much of the trail reminded me of being a child exploring the backwoods of my grandparents property in clay county WV 💗 i know this post has a million slides but i promise its worth a scroll to the end, there were so many beautiful views !! taken in New River Gorge National Park by @cat_witch

I’m soooo excited to announce that I’ll be presenting at Salem Witchcraft & Folklore Festival this August 🖤

I’ll be teaching a class centered around the culture of ancestral veneration in Appalachia, including the commonality of family graveyards in the hills, the folk tradition titled ‘decoration day’, and working with spirits of the land. My class will take place on Saturday, August 22nd from 4-6pm! 🌀

The festival takes place in Salem, MA and features 35+ classes from experienced practitioners, as well as several other fun events throughout the week.

If you aren’t able to attend in person, you still can attend the classes online as they will be livestreamed & recorded. Head over to their instagram, @salemwitchfest for the link to their website to get tickets! ✨ by @cat_witch
