As someone with intense anxiety I’ve always felt a deep connection to the Mayor of Halloween Town. You’ve all asked for your favorite characters from Nightmare before Christmas so today I made mine!

I took a break from making Jack today to honor your many requests to try out Oogie Boogie! I really want to make a true sculpture of him but you all have been asking for a pumpkin version so why not? His face is so small I need to come up with a better way of adding his stitches. I really think making him opaque green or tan in stead of transparent will help make the details more visible but he won’t look as glassy. Is the trade off worth it?

I’m finally out of the shop and in my shipping studio tomorrow, thank you all for so many amazing orders and being patient with them being made. My goal is to crank this weekend so everyone has prizes to open next week. I’m not a huge company I’m just a girl and an old dog 🩷

For everyone asking about the Halloween drop

Almost everything is a one of a kind sculpture, meaning it’s the only one in existence. by @catburnsglass

You requested a gargoyle for our 13 days of Halloween and by golly we did it! I don’t know why I thought I could make this and film it with just the two of us in a few hours. It was pure chaos. Fun chaos, but chaos. 💀😂

What on earth are you going to have me make next?!

You all loved Jack so much I had to make him a Sally! Remember colors look very different at 2000 degrees so all her red looks black. Really loving the Nightmare before Christmas hill as their stems!

I like to think of the first time I make something as a rough draft, in glass it is more like a sketch than a final product. This sketch was SKETCHY 😂 but honestly it only made me a little mad that I did such a bad job so I let it fuel me to make the next one super awesome.

You kept asking for a ghost dog and he is not only serving ghost he’s giving “There’s a ghost right behind me, isn’t there?!” 👻

Maybe it’s because I’m known for making pumpkins but it seems like a lot of the Halloween sculptures the past four years have been very pumpkin influenced and I would love to venture away from them. What ever comment gets the most votes this time around is what we’re making!
