I don’t even know where to start… I never thought I’d be making one of these, especially not for my brother.

Joseph was pronounced dead at the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday 05/19/2026.

He has a big family that loves him. All you guys that he considered friends and showed love, you are also apart of his big family. Thank you for the role you played into making his life full. The loss of his life is a pain that we all have to bear.

We’re planning his funeral and burial. For those that want to contribute for his arrangements, this is a way to do so. The costs for the funeral home we chose, along with arrangements to take care of him, are expected to be significant for us. If contributing is a lot to ask from you, please send some prayers for him and those that loved him.

All the love and consideration that has been thrown our way is sincerely appreciated ♥️

Show up. Keep up. Stay consistent. Hustle harder.

These words have carried me through many seasons of life. But lately, I’m feeling a different pull—one that calls me to abide instead of striving. To stop measuring my worth by what I do and start trusting that I am enough, even in the stillness.

So if you notice fewer posts from me for a time, know this: I’m still here, just releasing the pressure to perform. I’m learning that I don’t have to be on 100% all the time to be worthy. Even in the quiet, I am becoming.

On this page, you’ll still find curl transformations, but you’ll also see my heart laid bare—a reminder that growth isn’t always instant. Just like our curls, it takes time, trust, and sometimes, a fresh start.

Rest in this truth: God is pursuing you, even when you don’t feel like you’re doing enough. His love isn’t based on your performance.

“I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.” — Jeremiah 31:3

If you’re in a season of rest, reflection, or just trying to catch your breath, know that you’re exactly where you need to be. You are already whole, already loved, and already blooming—right here, right now. by @catchmeblooming

I’ve sat with this for a while trying to find the right words, but honestly… nothing really feels big enough for what this season has been.

This space has been more than just behind the chair for me. It’s been life. It’s been real conversations, tears, laughter, healing, growth, and so many moments I’ll never forget. I’ve been able to serve so many of you in ways I don’t take lightly at all.

Recently, my family experienced a really significant loss… and it’s changed a lot for me. It’s made me slow down and really look at what I need in this season of my life.

After a lot of prayer and sitting with it, I’ve made the decision to step away from my suite and take a sabbatical indefinitely.

I am not sure when I’ll be behind the chair again, and I’m still figuring out what everything looks like long term. I may pop up here and there in the future for appointments, so I’ll keep you all posted on that.

I’ll still be around on here though. I’m not disappearing. Just… shifting.

This isn’t really a “goodbye” for me. It feels more like a pause. A “see you later.”

I’m so grateful for every single person who’s sat in my chair, supported me, referred me, prayed for me, checked on me… all of it. You’ve all been part of something really special in my life.

For now, I’m just choosing to rest and be present in what God is doing in this next chapter.

I love y’all. Truly. 🤍 by @catchmeblooming

Ever had something you held onto so tightly because it became a symbol of your growth, your resilience, and everything you overcame? For me, it was my hair. Each curl felt like a trophy—proof that I had survived seasons I never thought I’d get through. It represented the strength I’d gathered, the healing I’d found. But holding on to what was isn’t always what serves us best in the new season we step into.

So, I did it. I cut it. I let go of the weight, the memory, the identity I had wrapped around it. Because here’s the thing: I’m no longer the person who started this journey. And that’s something to be grateful for.

In this season of renewal, I’m reminded that releasing what no longer serves us creates space for fresh growth, for new blooms to take root. And I want to extend that encouragement to you. Whether it’s your hair, a habit, or a mindset—what can you release today to make room for what’s next?

If you’re ready to bloom in all ways, let’s start that journey together. I’m here to guide you through the process—one curl, one transformation at a time. 🌱✨

Words have power. For the longest time, I found myself speaking limits over my life without even realizing it. I would say things like “That’s just not my thing” or “I don’t can’t do (fill in the blank),” and I started to see how those words shaped my reality. But when I allowed God to reframe my mindset, everything began to change. ✨

By shifting my perspective and speaking life over my situations, I found the courage to step out, embrace new opportunities, and nurture the purpose He planted in me. 🌸 It’s been a journey of growth, and as I see the transformation in my life and my curls, I’m reminded that God’s work in us is ongoing and beautiful.

Just like tending to our curls, tending to our mindset takes care and intention. 💫 If you’re ready to start speaking life and blooming where you’re planted, join me on this journey. Let’s lift each other up.

✨ Curly Tip Alert ✨

Want to take your curls to the next level with volume and height? Separating curls is a step that might take a little extra time, but trust me—it’s a game-changer for those big, bold looks! 💫

When I separate my clients’ curls, I sometimes incorporate light oils like @mizani nourishing oil, @olaplex oil, or @k18hair molecular repair oil. This helps keep the curls smooth, adds shine, and can aid in maintaining definition while I work through the sections.

If you’re looking to add a little more oomph to your curls, give this technique a try—it’s all about those details that make your curls pop! 🌿

💬 Let me know—are you team volume or definition? 👀

Balancing motherhood and running my business is a beautiful, messy dance. Some days, I’m completely immersed in my work, helping others transform their curls, and other days, I’m in awe of my little girl and how she shapes me as much as I shape her. 💖

It’s a constant pull—wanting to share her with the world because she’s so amazing, yet feeling the need to keep her close. As she grows, I pray for her to be kind in a world that isn’t always kind, to stay soft-hearted when things get tough, and to be bold, using her voice unapologetically. 🌿

These wishes for her have pushed me to live out those same values every day in my business and in life. If you notice me showing up more boldly or with even more love, it’s because I want to set the example I hope she’ll follow.

Pregnancy taught me that when purpose is conceived, it doesn’t need permission to grow—it just blooms. 🌸 Just like the curls I nurture in my clients, growth happens in the right environment with love and care.

So today, I’m challenging myself—and you—to think about the values or wishes you hold for the little ones in your life. How can we live them out more boldly in our own journeys? 🌟

Let’s grow and bloom, together.

✨ Client Success Story: Embracing Her Curls at Home ✨

When one of my lovely clients reached out after our initial session, she was struggling to recreate the style we achieved together. Frustrated with shrinkage and seeking more length and volume, she wasn’t sure how to move forward using just her Denman brush.

We hopped on a refresher Zoom call, dove into her concerns, and crafted a personalized plan aligned with her hair goals. By providing tailored insights and strategies, we created a safe space for her to progress confidently.

The results? She’s now styling her hair at home with ease and loving every moment of it! 🌿✨

I love empowering my clients to embrace their natural beauty and confidently continue their curl journey at home. 💕

Hey friend, I just wanted to pop in for a little heart-to-heart. You know those first-date jitters we all get? Well, I’m not talking about romance this time. I’m talking about our very first appointment together.

It’s kind of like a “getting to know you” moment—me learning about your curls, your journey, the good, the challenging, and everything in between. And just like those first dates, you might feel a bit nervous. Maybe your curls haven’t felt understood before, or maybe you’ve never found the right products or routine. That’s okay, really. Whether it’s our first time meeting or the fifth, I’m here to listen—to your story, to your curls, to your heart.

Like any good connection, communication is everything. Don’t hold back! Tell me what’s worked, what hasn’t, and what your curls need most. My goal is to make sure you leave feeling seen, validated, and confident. We’re in this for the long haul, and just like a good relationship, it only gets better with time.

**Curl Tip:**
Your curls are always speaking, even when they’re feeling dry or frizzy—that’s their way of asking for some love. Listen closely and give them what they need. It’s never too late to start that healthy conversation with your hair!

And when you’re ready to dive deeper, the ‘What I Wish I Knew’ ebook is there with tips that will make you think, “Wow, I wish I knew this sooner!” Or better yet, let’s book your next appointment and keep the transformation going. October booking opens Sunday at 12pm !
