And That’s A Wrap!

The end to what was an incredible debut season racing in the DSBK UAE National Championship. It went far beyond my expectations in terms of the amazing experience as well as the results.

The journey started 3.5 years ago in Covid when I had never even ridden a proper motorbike (I didn’t have a licence or even know how to put it 1st gear 😂) but through a lot of hard work, the right coaching and dedication we got to where we are today.

Racing wise we managed the goal of winning the 23/24 Saxo Rookie Cup Championship which is what we set out for. Overall finishing 3rd in the Superstock class against some very fast and talented riders. 9 podiums in total so I honestly couldn’t have been happier. Having my little boy up with me for my first podium will be a lifelong memory.

A huge thanks goes to @ninakrobson who’s selflessly supported me through out last year whilst I followed my passion and my dream. Without her support I wouldn’t have been able to do it. @garethevansracing @trackdynamics.me as my coach and race engineer - we got the bike set up spot on. @mrwhufc77 for making sure I didn’t mess up any more starts when it mattered 😂😂 @andyvttc who helped me start the journey, @christopher669taylor getting my fitness spot on, Matt from @motorsportathlete to get me dialed in and @furiosaracing for supporting the community as they do. Congratulations to everyone else in the paddock. There are some extremely talented riders racing this year and the future is bright!

Another huge shout to @frederic.m.s , Fadi and Samer from @numix_automotive @nationalpaints for sponsoring me this season, their support made this possible.

We will see what lay ahead for next year, but until then… summer time with my amazing family 😁😎

I’m FINALLY back on two wheels and in terms of capturing the moments… I think it’s time for an upgrade…

That’s means I no longer need my trusty Insta360 X2…. We captured some amazing moments together but it’s time for me to move on….

For those lucky enough to read this far…. Happy to let it go for free to a good home (UAE collection only)…. Just like this post and tag @insta360me in my comments and I will pick a winner at random.

Time to unleash the X5! Can’t wait for the mic to arrive too @nanodrop

It’s been nearly a year since my last proper track day… it’s been a proper sh1t year but there is light at the end of the tunnel:

Heart surgery/double heart bypass -> father passing away -> full knee rebuild surgery after snapped ACL/PCL/Meniscus … but I’m out the other side - still here!

The road to recovery is on - @numix_automotive - 3 months and counting….

Cheeky lap from the very last time on international circuit - 1.48 back in October last year. Cant wait to mix it up with the amazing community once again. it’s what makes Dubai so incredible, it’s not just the riding but the people and the community that comes with it.

See you on the flip side 🤘
