POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Hey, what's up? I'm Stephanie. 👋

This is a new "about me" post because it's long overdue:

🟢 I've had a camera in my hands since getting my brother's film camera back in grade school. I'm mostly self-taught (though I did take some classes to get used to my DSLR). My two photography loves are nature and portraits.

🟢 I'm an introverted extrovert. More than likely, I won't be the one to start a conversation, but you can bet I'll take part - unless I'm distracted and making friends with your dog or your cat. 🤣

🟢 I'm a big believer in leaving things better than I find them.
And those things can be people or places. 💗

🟢 I haven't been everywhere, but you can bet it's on my list.

🟢 What I love about this picture (and the session that they're from) is that it's so me. Barefoot, casual, and just being.

🟢 And lastly (for now) - here and in my stories, you'll find some of my photography, some heart, and some silliness.

Thanks for stopping by. 😊

When the sun hits just right 🤌✨

This summer was a lot more quiet than last year's. Between the rain and all the dog sitting I did this summer, I didn't get out nearly as much.

So, it was good to get out and enjoy most of the wander at Iroquois yesterday (seriously, the bugs there are no joke). If you go, don't forget the bug spray. taken in Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge by @catchmeoutsside

April 30, 2018 is the date of the open heart surgery that saved my life.

Things could have turned out so differently that day and in the days that followed, but I am still here today

Because of the nurse that happened to be in the bathroom at Gunners when I lost consciousness

Because of the St Marys EMTs and ambulance

Because of the ER staff at Penn Highlands Elk

Because of my Uncle Dave who helped us navigate everything during that time

Because of my parents who advocated and fought for me

Because of my incredible cardiologist, Dr. Glenn Leonard

Because of Dr. John Forman and his surgical team

Because of the cardiac team at Mercy

Because of OT after I got out of the hospital

Because of my parents for working together, pushing me, and nursing me back to health after I was discharged

Because of all the love, prayers, well wishes, and cards that I received while I was recuperating

Thank you will never be enough.
I am eternally grateful and forever blessed. 💗 by @catchmeoutsside
