For our final day of our Vacation we did a day in Johannesburg, South Africa. We had a great time learning more about Nelson Mandela, Apartheid, and the modern day treatment of Black South Africans. All and all I hope the kids appreciate what they have and the opportunities they get now. We got in a lot this day too. We started with Bo-Kaap, a city where during apartheid the residents had to keep their homes white but after apartheid they painted them bright colors to express their freedom. Then, we hit Robben Island, the jail where the kept Nelson Mandela locked up for 27 years. Next, we went to do a tour of Langa Township. Everyplace I go I like to see the hood because it confirms to me that the strongest people are built there… all over the world. Then, we went to the most South West Point of Africa, Cape of Good Hope. And we finished our day with an amazing dinner and show at @goldrestaurantcapetown . The food was 💣💣💣. Me and Caylee ate ostrich amongst other delicacies from around Africa. The singers and dancers were amazing. We had to make up for the lost day so we went to V&A Waterfront, we did the hop on hop off bus tour, we went to boulders beach to see the Penguins, and we ended the night with a great interactive dinner at @mamaafricarestaurante .
