One of my favorite weekends of every summer! Being an aunt is the best role I’ll have in my life. I take it very seriously. With 12 nieces and nephews (three of them greats), ages 30 to 9 months, I cherish every moment, every silly and serious conversation - they all matter. Thanks to their parents for trusting me to take care of them, to love them, to cover them in sunblock, to feed them (anything they want), and to hopefully make them feel as special as they make me feel as their aunt.

I never got to be a Mom, but as aunt, I’ll show up every day and give it my best! 🙋🏻‍♀️ plus who doesn’t love matching sweatshirts!

I’m dating myself, but as a girl who loves to shop, who obsessed over when I could have a closet like Cher’s in @clueless (1995), who consigns at TRR, Posh, eBay and so many more brick and mortars, plus just has a closet (or three) that overflow on a daily basis, when I found @starmoirehq, it was ‘as if’ Cher created this service for me!

One of the biggest differences I see between founders who scale and founders who spiral?
The ones who scale are not smarter or better resourced.

They just stopped waiting for something to go wrong before they fixed it.

I've watched founders spend years in reactive mode, putting out fires, scrambling to catch up, dealing with problems that could have been avoided entirely.

Meanwhile, the ones who built intentionally? They're growing. Because they're not distracted by the crisis they never saw coming.

That's the part no one talks about enough:

Being proactive is not a personality trait.
It's a system.

Cate Luzio and I talked about this on the podcast, and honestly, it's something every founder needs to hear.

You do not react your way to scale.

You build the systems that make reacting unnecessary.
