Join us at the North Carolina Museum of Art for an immersive Art Heist Dinner coinciding with the opening of the Ancient Nubia: Excavating Treasures of the Nile. Inspired by the mysteries, discoveries, and extraordinary history of Ancient Nubia, this one-of-a-kind evening will transport guests into the past, where they’ll be tasked with uncovering secrets buried for centuries.

Still thinking about last week’s Art Inside the Bottle: In Perfect Harmony at the @ncartmuseum in Raleigh. 🍷🎨

This immersive art, food, and wine experience paired inspiration from the NCMA’s African collection with an incredible chef-curated menu and seven wines celebrating African and American winemaking. It was a thoughtful celebration of culture and creativity featuring breathtaking art and a truly exceptional culinary lineup.

The experience was beautifully brought to life by event co-creator @doreencolondres, owner of @vitishouse, alongside Tashea Smith, head chef Matt Griffith, @cateringworks, and the NCMA team. Thank you for hosting us and creating such a phenomenal evening! by @cateringworks

Last night we found perfect harmony between food, art, and most importantly wine 🍷

We can’t stop talking about how wonderful Art Inside the Bottle: In Perfect Harmony was! We loved the curator lead tour around the African Gallery, the entertaining and knowledgeable wine pairing, and of course the amazing food.

Thank you to @doreencolondres with @vitishouse for the expert knowledge of wine you demonstrated.

Join us on September 10th, at the NCMA for an evening exploring how artists and winemakers pursue harmony through contrast, texture, structure, and emotion. From the museum galleries to the wine glass, discover how individual elements come together to create something greater than the sum of their parts.

Inspired by the Museum's African collection, this immersive experience pairs five thoughtfully crafted dinner courses with five carefully selected wines that celebrate the dialogue of African and American winemaking. Through side-by-side comparisons of iconic grape varieties and wine styles, we'll discover how acidity, fruit, tannin, texture, color, and composition work together to create elegance, expression, and harmony.

Some moments become even more meaningful with time. 🤍

Seven years ago, Catering Works had the incredible honor of catering a fundraiser attended by the incomparable Dolly Parton.

Now, as the world mourns the loss of a true icon, we find ourselves looking back on that evening with even more gratitude. Dolly’s talent was legendary, but so were her kindness, generosity, and the joy she brought to so many.

We feel incredibly fortunate that, for one evening, our story crossed paths with hers.

Rest easy, Dolly. Your light will be missed, but never forgotten. ✨
