"Vanishing Point": Built through layers of brushwork, palette knife textures and atmospheric veils of colour, this work explores the quiet tension between disappearing and being seen. Deep greens, smoky greys and flashes of ochre create a landscape that feels both distant and familiar, inviting the viewer into a space of reflection and possibility. My painting titled " Fractured Light" now on show @gallery_zozimus. It measures 77 x 77cm after framing. Highly textured gesso & acrylic with mixed media on canvas. FRACTUREDLIGHT Layers of shadow, abrasion, and luminous colour move across the surface in shifting tension. Marks emerge and dissolve, tracing moments of interruption, movement, and repair. The work explores how light changes when filtered through fracture — not diminished, but altered. What appears broken becomes a place of transformation; fragments carrying their own quiet brilliance. Through texture, gesture, and obscured space, Fractured Light reflects on resilience and the delicate balance between instability and renewal. What an amazing night at the fabulous @gallery_zozimus hosted by Shane & Charlie! A huge thankyou to them both for their unwavering support & encouragement! It was such a lovely night for the launch of " Abstract Positions" featuring myself and 3 artists focusing on abstraction! An event for Culture Date Dublin 8 @culturedatewithdublin8 Such a great atmosphere and welcoming vibe at the gallery and so lovely to meet the artists involved, old and new friends.
