I did it! 🔴

On Saturday I walked onto the red dot and delivered my first TedX talk: The Dangers of Safe Spaces.

And I’m feeling incredibly proud, thankful and joyful today!!!

The build up felt intense - life had been life-ing, nerves and anticipation had built and there were moments in the days before that I had to dig deep.

But I also knew I was ready. Ready to share my story and my message with the world. Ready to speak up about a topic that so often gets brushed aside or ignored completely.

And as soon as I stepped out, I felt so certain, so clear, so present. I was in flow. I was me. And it was a beautiful experience that will stay with me forever.

So much went into this day, yes from me, but also from so many others to make the day what it was. Phenomenal.

To the @tedxbromley team @fearless_speak @ronkekokoruwe and Royston John - you are INCREDIBLE. Thank you 🙏🏾

There are so many others to thank as well - the audience! My coaches! Friends and family who were there! Everyone who messaged before and after - I felt it all 🙏🏾

And finally to my fellow speakers - WOW! Every single one of you delivered a transformational talk. Your openness, compassion and honesty throughout this journey has felt so special and I feel so PROUD of us all.

I have many learnings that I will share in good time but for now I think it’s a time for celebrating me, everyone who made it happen, and everyone who has some new thoughts from being at TEDx Bromley 2026.

The line up is 🔥

I am proud, thankful and excited to be part of it.

Are you coming???

You will leave with new thinking, perspectives and ideas because every single talk is SO thought provoking.

Time to re-introduce myself!

Let’s start with a question….

If I asked you (as a percentage) how SAFE you have felt in the past week, what would you say?

Maybe you’d say you’ve felt safe the entire time.

But if I asked you the percentage of time you had spent:

Worrying
Feeling overwhelmed
Replaying past conversations
Feeling anxious
Getting stressed about the future.
Being impatient with loved ones.
Criticising yourself.
Shouting at people.
Doom scrolling.
Procrastinating.

I bet the number would be higher.

And THIS is what a lack of safety truly feels like.

Good news is, you get to change that number for yourself AND for anyone who steps inside your world.

That’s the work I do.

My DMs are open, come and say hi! 👋🏽

It's honestly such an honour to be able to share this testimonial from my incredible past client @cathblayney , who was both in my STARS Mastermind and has also certified in the OVERFLOW tapping certification.

Cath is such a pleasure to work with and to be able to see how she's using this tool for her work, which is so needed, so important, and life-changing. I feel so honoured 🥹

Since doing the tapping certification, Cath has spoken on several stages and she even used the tapping to get her prepared for her TEDx, which is so big. I'm so proud of her. I love this testimonial.

So grateful that you've done this for me, Cath!

If you're considering joining, our special UNSHAKEABLE bundle expires tomorrow at midnight so don't hesitate to DM me with any questions that you have about this to see if it's the right fit for you

Or comment the word "TAP" below and we will get the information sent over to you 🔥🤌🏼🩷 by @cathblayney

Can’t quite believe it’s already been a week! 😳

One minute, we were preparing to share our ideas; the next, we were on that red dot stage, making memories and wondering where the time went. 😁

A huge thank you to @tedxbromley ,the organising team, the sponsors, partners and supporters for bringing this experience to life.

Thank you for the opportunity, the trust, the hard work behind the scenes, and for creating a space where different voices and ideas could come together.

To my family and friends, thank you for every word of encouragement, every message, and every bit of support along the way; having you in my corner made this journey even more special. ❤️

And to my fellow speakers: I’m so proud to have shared this journey, this stage, and that little red dot with you.

It was a privilege to be part of this with you. Wishing each of you continued growth, exciting opportunities, and every success in your future endeavours. 🤗

Here’s to what comes next! 🥂

AND he would have had someone who is anti-racist on his team helping him to do better, because that statement…?! 🤦🏽‍♀️ by @cathblayney

It’s a pattern. Did you notice it?

If you work with people, this work isn’t a nice to have. It’s an essential way to prevent and reduce harm so that you are not part of the problem.

Scroll to the end for ways you can interrupt the pattern of erasure.

Are your good intentions actually causing harm?

Safe people do not use these 5 phrases.

They see rac!sm. Challenge it. And know how to hold victims safely.

And if you’ve used any of these phrases, use today to reset and lead safely. Shame stops progress. by @cathblayney

When you’re ready to stop settling, come and say hi 👋🏽

Sometimes the hardest part is saying enough is enough. That things need to change. Because the way things are just can’t carry on.

The best things usually start with a brave step.

DM BRAVE to start the conversation by @cathblayney

The r@c!sts came out to PLAY last week....

But this post isn't for them, it's for you, the heart-led person who thinks they don't need to worry about racism.

The person who assumes no-one they know is like this.

The person who is outraged that this is 'even a thing'....

Because the reality is that these people are your neighbours, your clients, your friends, your co-workers.

They just haven't shown that side of themselves to you...yet.

Are you ready when they do? by @cathblayney
