One of my favourite things about stop-motion animation is how collaborative it is. I had the honour of working with 7 different artists to create this scene, all in different fields of the arts!

Thank you to my creative producer @olivialoccisano
For connecting me with incredible artists, keeping me organized and IN CHECK, and providing incredibly helpful creative direction feedback. Olivia is an extremely gifted writer and director, it is such an honour to be working with her.

Here is a side-by-side of our lovely ballet dancer and choreographer @emmamineau and puppet! I am so so so excited about how this turned out. Your dancing and choreography was absolutely breathtaking and is such a key part of this short. Thank you Brooke at @industrydance.co for providing the studio space, and recommending Emma! We had so much fun filming with you both!

Thank you to Christopher Campbell for creating this amazing music! It fits so perfectly with the ballet scene and gives off such a spooky, creepy feeling. I fell in love with it the second I heard the first few chords!! You can find his music here: @scarmadaofficial

Thank you to our photographer, technical director, and lighting artist @ratul_debnath for teaching me about green screen, making the rig, and setting up the camera and lighting! Even though I shot half of this out of focus (it was my first time, ok? 😭) you still managed to fix it in post. THANK YOU♥️

I couldn't have done this without the guidance from @zh.anggg and @animationbyakash. Thank you to my creative producer @olivialoccisano for connecting me with them!

Thank you both for having consultations with me and sharing your expertise! Lily taught me how to build strong, sturdy puppets with the best materials, about rigs, and the animation process. Akash shared the animation software Dragon Frame with me (which I will never go without!), taught me about puppets and rigs, and how the experts create facial expressions with puppets. I've learned so much from these two!

I'd also like to thank @canada.council for their full support in making this stop-motion short! Thank you for allowing us to hire so many artists and make my script a reality!! by @catherinehois
