Audition 🎬

Excited about this one! I was fortunate to receive a callback from the director, and he gave me permission to share the audition. Thanks Alex Bensley for being my reader.

Audition🎬 Here is one of my latest auditions where I get to play the antagonist. I am a parent in charge of the school play and have rigged the auditions to only allow certain students to get the lead parts including my daughter. Thank you to Andrew Sogamoso for letting me post this audition. He wrote and will be directing this film which is inspired by a true story. Also, thank you to Gil Junger for helping me with this in his workshop and the other students for being my lovely readers! #audition #inspiredbyatruestory #auditioning #actor by @catherinepenix

This is a painting that my husband recently did of me as a gift after not painting for about a year. For those of you who don’t know, my husband is a professional artist. That’s actually how we met. He was looking for a model to paint and I guess I was what he was looking for… The rest is history. 🤓 by @catherinepenix

The Range post apocalyptic short film coming soon…
@btumediaproductions by @catherinepenix

I had the pleasure of being part of this short film recently! 🎬✨ Post-apocalyptic is one of my favorite genres, so I was especially excited to be part of this project. I can’t wait to share it with you all when it’s released! 🙌🏻✨#BTUMediaProductions #TheRangeMovie #BIGFLIMS #apocalyptic #filmmakerslife by @catherinepenix

We have a new family member. She is a turquoise Linnie (Lineolated parakeet). She is a sweetie and we hope to get her a cobalt blue birdie boyfriend soon.🩵💙 by @catherinepenix

Went out to the desert (104 degrees) and filmed a post apocalyptic film with director John Fuentes. He is phenomenal to work with and his writing is brilliant. I cannot wait to see this once it’s done. “The Range”- Bend The Universe Productions. 🎬☀️🔥 by @catherinepenix

Business character✨🎬 by @catherinepenix

A reminder that perfection is overrated.

The mistakes, the laughter, the awkward moments… they’re all part of the process.

Trust yourself. Be human.

Comment “you’re awesome” to join. by @catherinepenix

This sums up my love for acting pretty well. Bloopers from a singing audition I did a while back for Alan Powell’s remake of A Walk to Remember. I knew I was far past the age to play the part but I wanted to put myself out there anyway. 😊✨🎬 by @catherinepenix

Thinkin about it… I literally have only dyed my hair once in my life and it was just some highlights like 10 years ago. Wouldn’t the Cool White be SO fun?!? by @catherinepenix
