James LOVED golf.

My first ever lesson was one he gave me at his local club on a grey winter day. He gifted me the bug. When I was home last year, he dragged John, Garry, and me out on a beautiful morning. It was -3°C! 🥶

He loved the game, but more than that, he loved playing it with people he loved.

June 18th is James and John’s birthday, our first without him 💔

To honour him, my amazing brothers Graham, Garry & John are taking on a huge challenge: 72 holes of golf in one day. ⛳️

They are aiming to raise funds for The Butterfly Thyroid Cancer Trust. 🦋

James was passionate about raising awareness for early diagnosis.

“Don’t put your neck on the line. If you feel a lump, get it checked.”

This week we laid our beautiful James to rest.

Our hearts are forever broken, but we are so grateful for him. His love, his bravery, his warmth and relentless teasing.

He’s teeing off now on heavens shore, and remains with us for eternity. In our hearts, minds and every time we step on a golf course.

We laid our precious Mum to rest this week. We are totally heartbroken. We are also full of the love she gave to us and remains her enduring legacy.❤️
