My @orvillepeck extravaganza started with an incredible concert at @hollywoodbowl and ended with a 4 song acoustic set at @amoebahollywood followed by an album signing and quick chat. If you don’t get why I am so fascinated by this artist, please listen to him sing Already Gone with the same passion and vocal prowess as he did with the full band. Orville is the real deal and the best writer in country music today. And the pure joy in his face at the end of this song is everything!

Treehouse Lullaby is a letter to Orville Peck, whose songs have been the hammocks that cradle me when I let the pain flow. It’s also a plea, because staying mentally strong and healthy requires constant practice.

There are references to his life, his songs, his South African heritage, and, of course, his dog, Queenie.
