Back in the studio ‼️ take a look inside the beginnings of a new work for KDC

KDC has begun our initial days of a commission by Catherine Nueva Espana - incorporating her writings and photography into movement 💫

👉🏼 Our process started by reading poems that she wrote during different Decades of her life (ages 15-40)
👉🏼 Each dancer read a different story/poem out loud
👉🏼 Exploration followed with movement ideas based on dadaism + dashiel Hammett, who came up in her travel-themed poetry

Nostalgia has emerged as a big topic, and together we explored how nostalgia is represented or recreated in music!

Stay tuned to see the creation & development of this work along the way 💫

Director Vee Hua @hellomynameisvee and Producer Catherine Nueva España @cathne08 are here to tell you why you should INVEST in the upcoming feature film, RECKLESS SPIRITS, and *get a chance to make your money back* all while supporting a queer, diverse, metaphysical, and multilingual POC best friend comedy for a BLEAK ERA (!!!)

Investments can be made for amounts as low as $100! We just need another $40K from our community to help us enter production in March 2026!
