With my drums I connect with myself

With my plants and herbs I pray

And I ask my ancestors

The memory of my purpose

Nitxi awehy pataxó tribe

There is a forest in me

Roots, stems and flowers

I am fire, bonfire and candle, always lit and illuminated

Today | burn, tomorrow I heat

The hand that heals and transforms

I am a breath of love

The future is ancestral 🪶🐆

Sometimes the Earth has a way of calling us back to our roots.
The elections in Brazil fell on my grandfather’s birthday, on the land where my family’s story began and where part of me has always felt rooted.

Something about that timing felt like a thread between my ancestors, my journey to the Amazon and the forest that continues to call me.

And it made me reflect on what it really means to honour something.

Because there is a difference between honouring Indigenous traditions and simply consuming them.

We cannot sit with the medicine, adopt the rituals, speak of ancestral wisdom and call the Amazon sacred, while remaining disconnected from the people, lands and realities those practices come from.

Honouring asks for reciprocity.

And sometimes reciprocity is political.

Not because everyone had a vote. We didn’t. But we could pay attention. Learn. Amplify. Support. Care.

Being apolitical is a privilege when the people whose wisdom we receive cannot simply opt out of the consequences of politics.
True spirituality asks more of us than love and light.

It asks us not only to receive, but to stand beside. To protect. To give back.

Otherwise, what we call spirituality can become another form of appropriation, repeating the same colonial pattern of taking what we want while looking away from the people it belongs to.

One of the biggest lessons on my healing journey has been this:
Peace is something we create.

Through the boundaries we set. The conversations we walk away from. The moments we choose ourselves.

For so long, I thought protecting my peace meant avoiding difficult situations.

Now I see it as coming back to myself, again and again.

This is the intention behind every sound healing and shamanic session I offer.

A gentle space to slow down, breathe deeply, release what feels heavy, and remember who you are beneath all the noise.

If this message found you at the right time, perhaps it’s an invitation to come back to yourself. My private sound healing and shamanic healing sessions offer a gentle space to begin ✨

Huge thanks to everyone who popped by to see us at @queensparkday yesterday despite the rainy day.
It’s always heartwarming to see the community out gathering as one and we were so chuffed to have a presence here this year now that The Heart Space is very much rooted in our neighbourhood.

We’re so looking forward to welcoming all the new faces we met into our shared heart space 🤍

Big thanks to the organisers and all the wonderful volunteers, especially the lovely women who helped us carry our rails and stock at the end of the day.

Huge love to the Queens @deanneoramyoga & @catia_palves for always being there and here 🤍🌹🤍🌹🤍 by @catia_palves

I’m so happy to share that from July I’ll be offering weekly Sound Healing at the @theheartspace.earth

This place has become such a sanctuary for me.The kind of place where you walk in and already feel yourself exhale. Warm, held, away from the noise of everything outside. I’ve fallen in love with it and I can’t wait to share it with you.

Each week I will be holding space for one hour of deep rest and connection through sound. A space to slow down, soften, let your body breathe and come back to yourself.

If you’ve been curious, craving stillness or a moment that’s just for you, this is your sign to come.

2nd and 9th of July (Thursday) 7:30PM - 8.30PM

I would love to see you there ✨

somewhere along the way, adult friendships get quietly pushed to the edges.

romantic love takes centre stage. life fills up. we catch up instead of going deep. we update each other instead of being with each other.

I’ve been sitting with this for a while now and morocco brought it all the way home.

Travelling with my soul sister, in the heat, the colour, the noise that somehow strips you back to something true, we didn’t just travel together. we healed together. we went to the tender, hard-to-reach places in ourselves and we witnessed each other there.

that kind of friendship is not a given. it is a choice. made again and again.

it is its own ceremony.

if you have someone like that tell her.

I’m so happy to share that i’m now a resident sound healer at @theheartspace.earth

It’s such a special place, the kind where you walk in and already feel yourself exhale and feel safe. warm, held, away from the noise of everything outside. I’ve fallen in love with it, and I can’t wait to share it with you.

Every month I’ll be holding two sessions: a gong bath and crystal singing bowls. An hour that’s just for you, to slow down, soften, let your body rest, and come back to yourself.

If you’ve been curious, this is your sign to come. no experience needed, no pressure, just bring yourself as you are. we’ll take care of the rest.

April:
16th (thursday) · 7–8pm
28th (tuesday) · 7:30–8:30pm

I’d love to see you there ✨

A vida presta.
