The World Cup may be over... but Team Lanzilotti just signed another striker. ⚽👶💙
We think it’s pretty great that God is blessing us with baby #8. The kiddos get to welcome a little BRO this December! Lucy revealed baby’s gender to us with cupcakes 🧁, and Veronica seems more than ready to be a big sister. 😄

Monday musings…
Did another sprint duathlon with an adventurous friend yesterday (@meganluten)! The weather was gorgeous and I beat my time from last year. It got me pondering the many parallels between sport and parenthood…
-The endurance/perseverance required
-The need to run our own race and encourage others on theirs…comparison is the thief of joy
-Both provide ample opportunity to grow in virtue and make you a better human
-…and how to be comfortable being uncomfortable…it stretches your whole person
-Sometimes it feels like it might kill you, but it won’t…you can handle more than you think 🙃

Both sport and parenthood stretch and bless me immensely.
