this one is bittersweet, my good friends in the jelly squirts (tyler, scooter, @adelspideyspidey , @unabomber420 ) are releasing an album (🤩🤩🤩) and my good friend and roomie of a million years, @tarantulahawk69 aka dakota, is playing his last show here and then skipping town (😓😓😓).

We have @th0tdaughter_ to exorcise all the demons we harbor, @catlip_morsel to enchant you into the sweet tonal darkness, and a very special guest @sidney.abernathy from Albuquerque originally is gracing us with their presence from CDMX ; “abers es el proyecto de Sidney Abernathy Villareal, artista multidisciplinario, DJ y productorx Burqueño, afincado en CDMX. Conduce un programa de radio, [antro]pología, en Threads Radio London, enfocado a destacar los sonidos y tendencias actuales en el mundo del antro en América Latina. También forma parte del colectivo CA$$É, un proyecto experimental con enfoque en la diáspora de la música club. Sus producciones tanto como sus mezclas se inspiran en la trayectoria de weightless grime, wave y dubstep, con un enfoque en las melodías y lo inesperado.
abers comenzó en la música folk, donde perfeccionaron sus habilidades no sólo en el canto, sino también en el dominio de múltiples instrumentos y el lanzamiento de un álbum completo de música americana bajo el nombre de Sidney Abernathy. Después de que su coche quedara destrozado de camino a Nashville, se trasladó a Ciudad de México, donde, tras una breve crisis en 2020, aprendió a DJear y empezó a experimentar con la producción de música electrónica.
