🖨️✨ Artists of Cattle Track | Episode 3

Meet Jeryl Jones @pumpkinpatchpress — letterpress artist, master printer, and keeper of a legacy that spans generations.

Jeryl started her career in the early 1970s at the Corse Press in upstate New York — the same press her grandmother had worked at before her. That kind of story doesn’t need embellishment.
🥹
Today she runs Orange Press Studio, a custom letterpress design shop focused on artist books, stationery, and occasion cards, plus Pumpkin Patch Press as her personal creative playground. She works with a range of presses including a Vandercook #4 and brings the same love and intention to every single piece.
Come find her on April 25th at @cattletrackarts !

Happy National Treehouse Day!

While it’s not a widely celebrated holiday, we thought it was the perfect excuse to share this treehouse we spotted during our recent visit to the Cattle Track Arts Compound, where we were lucky enough to get a tour from some of its working artists and residents.

Cattle Track is known for its hand-built, experimental structures scattered throughout the desert property.

Spanning nearly 13 acres, the compound is home to art studios, homes, and workshops, and serves as both a creative community and a cultural landmark in Scottsdale.

If you’ve never visited, we highly recommend checking out our recent post about the tour and heading to cattletrack.org to learn more.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for last weeks MAC Lunch at Phoenix Art Museum.

We loved gathering with our MAC community and hearing from Janie Ellis as she shared the story and legacy of Cattle Track, one of Arizona’s most meaningful creative landmarks.

Thank you as well to ARTenders and Jeremy Johnson of Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits for adding to a great afternoon.

We appreciate everyone who came out and helped make it such a special event. We look forward to seeing you at the next one.
