I’ve been sitting with this news for a while, and I still can’t quite believe it. I am beyond excited, shocked, and deeply humbled to share that My Aunt Marge series has been gifted to the Getty Museum and is now part of their permanent collection. Even typing that doesn’t feel real.

I never imagined my photographs would find a home like this. This series has always been personal to me; rooted in family, memory, and the city of Los Angeles. To know it will live on in such an incredible institution is something I’m still trying to absorb.

Thank you, truly, to Juan Cavazos. Your belief in my work has pushed me forward more times than you know, and this gift will carry with me for the rest of my life. And thank you to Arpi Kovacs at the Getty for believing in this series and for welcoming it with such care.

I’m humbled. I’m grateful. I’m emotional. And I’m just… proud. taken in The Getty Center by @caver83

Thank you to everyone who attended our opening of “Two in the Pinku.”

It was lovely seeing you all.

Thanks to @prado_garden for everything. Without you, this show would not have happened!

It's ok to show some pink.

Tomorrow / Sept. 26! Our exhibit opens at @tsa_la. With new artwork, @caver83 and I turn each other into voyeurs and models (inspired by the pink films covered by our podcast). You’ll even see a small selection of the flyers I drew for the podcast in the show.

Are you ready for your “Pink Cut?” ✂️ Coming soon to Los Angeles: catch the screening of this happy-go-lucky Nikkatsu film, directed by Yoshimitsu Morita. You’ve never seen colors like this before! It’s also a rare moment to see this genre in LA.

Courtesy of @kani.releasing. Save the date for Saturday, October 3 at 6 pm 🍿

Coming soon! @caver83 and I have made new artwork for a two-person show at @tsa_la. Inspired by our podcast (and love of pink film), experience a drawing installation and photos where we turn each other into actors/models. It’s cheeky. It’s tongue-in-cheek. It’s @twointhepinku.
