![in this line, our queen Rico Nasty is stating her position on police abolition. setting herself apart from the general majority who, as miss Rico correctly implies, are quick to call police to resolve their disputes for them. but as we know, law enforcement at all levels only arrive at the scene AFTER an incident [of physical violence] has already gone down. not to mention their racial bias against Black people + their trigger happy tendencies, which too often result in pigs unjustly murdering members of the community - innocent or not. instead, she puts full trust in her & her communityโs ability to โhandle that shitโ her/themselves via throwing fisticuffs. no matter how heated the beef gets, Rico Nasty remains true to her abolitionist principles of NOT calling police under ANY circumstance. this frame of thought is exemplary of what we need in order to combat state violence & to build another world in which many worlds fit.
