“Catalina”

“In the near future, where human caregivers have been replaced by AI, a desperate robot mechanic tries to save his dying mother by transferring her consciousness into an illegal robot named Catalina.”

An emotionally powerful film that recently screened at LA Shorts International Film Festival (@lashortsfest) in Hollywood!

@ohhohhsheila was transformed into an older version of herself using old age stretch and stipple techniques, and then converted into a robotic humanoid version of her younger self using airbrush.

“New Order”

Silicone mask-like faces I created for an AFI Conservatory Short Film called “New Order”.
I had three days to cast both Actress’s faces, make stone and silicone molds, pour the final silicone faces, and hand paint them as realistically as possible.

Second time painting hyper-realistic silicone, following my severed head from Cinema Makeup School!

“Sonata” 🎶

The first film I have ever worked on is finished! 🤩
Honored to get a first peak at the film before it goes off to more festivals!

Already being an @independentshortsawards winner, I can’t wait to see what this film accomplishes next!!

It was an incredibly surreal and emotional moment seeing my name in the credits for the first time, and I will never forget it. I wish I could have captured the moment, but festival rules apply 🤫

Month 7• The End • 5/24/24

It has been a dream of mine to attend Cinema Makeup School since I was just 12 years old. I started saving money to move and attend during my first job at 16. And now I am officially a graduate at the age of 24.

It is truly a bittersweet feeling now that I have graduated from my dream school. I have waited for this moment for 12 years, and now that I have accomplished it, I have never been happier! But it also feels like a major piece of my life and story has come and gone so quickly. I’ve waited 12 years for something that ended in 7 months. It is bittersweet, but I am thankful for everything nonetheless. The education I received, the mentors I look up to, the friends I have made, the memories I will keep, and the skills that I will master. I am thankful for all of it and wish I could do it all again.. Thank you Cinema Makeup School for having me, you were a dream come true. On to the next chapter! ♥️🖤
