1986 Chevrolet C30! 3+3 Camper Special Silverado Edition Cowboy Sleeper and Taylor Wing accessories. Been what feels like a never ending, very long process is finally coming together! Started last fall after the truck had been sitting in a field for as long as we know 1995. Previous owner swapped a 6.2 detroit diesel with a turbo400 in it. Realized the engine was seized and wasn’t sure what route to go. After months of waiting on what plan was best and for the perfect opportunity to come up. Finally, came across a chevrolet express van and swapped and rebuilt the drivetrain of the 6.0L LS and a 4l80e. •Upgraded to truck norris cam •Currently open headers but will be finishing exhaust for it soon! Still so much yet that I have planned for it but so thrilled and excited that she is running and driveable! #c30 #squarebody #trucknorris #truckgirls #taylorwing by @caylee.phillips

everything looks better in red ❤️ 5 lessons i have learned from the truck industry 1) don’t let other people’s opinions influence what YOU want to do. it’s YOUR build. 2) don’t let others intimidate you just because they may look down on you for being a female in a male dominated environment. you are just as knowledgeable and capable of doing the work. everyone learns from somewhere, prove them wrong. 3) you don’t need a lift and wides in order for your work to be considered a “build/project”. 4) you don’t need to own a diesel to start your passion for vehicles. 5) you don’t need to own a brand new vehicle in order to start a build/project. it’s amazing being able to keep the old ones alive :) lessons i have learned from my truck 1) that it’s okay to own a vehicle with higher miles. it has been just as reliable in the last 3 years than any vehicle i have owned 2) it’s okay to own an older vehicle and not have a loan out on your vehicle. it’s rewarding knowing that the title is in your name and that it can be just as reliable as a new vehicle @allie_chevy99 @leadbyexample_co @lgbilletusa #lgxlbewomensday #leadbyexample #lgbilletusa by @caylee.phillips
