How Caylyn Pruitt Turned Teal Into a Business Strategy One of the most inspiring parts of my conversation with Caylyn Pruitt, founder of CayPops, was hearing how deeply intentional she is about her brand—from her earrings to her car. And it’s not just about loving the color teal (though she does). It’s about building a brand that sticks in people’s minds. Caylyn understands that personal branding brings a human element to business. When you order from CayPops, you’re not just buying cupcakes—you’re buying something Caylyn made with care. That connection matters. She told me how nearly 90% of her wardrobe is teal and brown, and even her car matches the brand. Why? Because when people around town see that teal car, they immediately think, “I should order CayPops.” It’s not just a cute car—it’s a moving billboard that sparks action. People don’t even realize it’s advertising. That’s the brilliance of what Caylyn is doing—she’s turning everyday moments into brand impressions, and it’s completely natural. Also, major shoutout to her parents who flew to Buffalo just to drive that teal CayPops car back home for her. Talk about next-level support and belief in her vision. Caylyn’s story is such a powerful reminder that personal touches and intentional branding can set you apart in a big way. Catch the full conversation with Caylyn on the Bowls & Business Podcast.
