A recently completed, comprehensive home renovation. 💫

These wonderful clients came to us with a sloping house, a family with growing needs and poor memories from a challenging experience with a previous contractor.

This was a “construction heavy” project involving complete demolition of over half of the home’s 1st floor; new supportive steel beams; new footings; the pouring of a new concrete slab (floor); new sewer pipe (we found theirs had been leaking for some years) and of course, electrical and plumbing works.

By completing this work, we were able to level the 4” slope; create an office for dad; a beautiful open living / dining room space; a defined hallway with a bespoke hallway tree + bench; additional storage throughout the 1st floor; new hardwood floors; a laundry room remodel and a bathroom remodel.🤎

A fun little bathroom remodel just outside of Philadelphia. Heated floors, heated towel rail, shapes and texture galore!
🤎🩷 With only the shower glass to go!

Most of our work is conducted in old homes - this house being built in 1888 - so we always have a creative approach to viewing space.
In this case, we weren’t able to add additional floor space to the bathroom, but a simple move of the toilet and vanity allowed a much improved flow.

A new, enlarged 1st floor bathroom for our lovely Lafayette Hill clients. 💫
We completed a large-scale, 1st floor home renovation, including extensive structural and foundation improvements (amongst other things), for this wonderful family of four.

By reworking hallways and closets, we were able to create the space for a full bathroom on the 1st floor as per the client’s request.

Swipe for before. 👀 More to come from this project!

Another full house renovation completed in Philadelphia. 💫
We had to take this home down to the studs; repair, reframe and build back up.
Swipe for before. 👀

We added a sweet, discreet half bathroom on the 1st floor; removed some oddly placed walls in order the open up the layout; replaced the banisters to bring them up to code; replaced some windows; refinished floors and much more!

We kept the original features that remained:
🤎 beautiful wooden front doors
🤎 vestibule wood paneling
🤎 original wood floors throughout

A timeless, simple classic for one of our investor clients - swipe for before.👀

This client unexpectedly came to be the owner of a family member’s home - her old childhood home in fact - she contacted us regarding a full, down-to-the-studs renovation asking that we be kind to the home as we prepared it for the Philadelphia rental market.

More pictures of this project to follow! 💫

Whew! We have been very busy working on:
💫 Two bathroom remodels in Wyndmoor
💫 A kitchen remodel in Philadelphia
💫 A kitchen remodel in Elkins Park
💫 We have closed-out another full house renovation in Philadelphia as well as a 1st floor home remodel / garage conversion in Lafayette Hill!
What fun! Lots of pictures to follow!

Amongst all of this we designed, built and installed this storage system in Wyndmoor; discreet flat-front toy storage cabinets below, shelving above, and a reading nook in between.
By taking advantage of a slim, setback living room wall (swipe for before pics 👀) we were able to create this wonderful, 10’ high piece! 🩷💚💛

Swipe for before (and more) photos of our wonderful clients’ kitchen and dining situation before their home addition, remodel and garage conversion with us! 💫

Our clients had been in their home for 15 years prior to this project. As their family and work lives have grown, so have their home needs.

They wanted a calm, simple, peaceful kitchen - “nothing too crazy” - where they can finally host more than one visitor at a time.

This project was a long time coming, but well worth the wait. 🏡
