If you or someone you know has questions regarding your rights or about legal help that is available to you, give us a call at (773) 969-6098. 🎉 Its Nick's last day & Alishia's last week at CBCAC!

👏 Nick has been such a fantastic addition to the team this summer and has helped us streamline our website, set up surveys, and create digital literacy curriculum. We are so appreciative to Nick for all the hard work he put in! We can't wait to watch him flourish (and continue to create social content! Follow him @nickat8pm!)

👏 Alishia has been such a joy to have in the office! She is witty and kind, and always down to help! From our fundraiser to digital literacy classes, we are grateful for everything she did. We will miss her but we can't wait to see her final art project depicting Chinatown as home 👀 by @cbcacchicago

😁 Chinatown Summer Fair is back! Support your local Chinatown and give our community a voice by visiting CBCAC in front of the Chinatown Library on Saturday or canvassing with us on Sunday!

🤩 Visit us on Saturday to do some community visioning for the 78, register to vote, and enter a raffle for some prizes! Scan the QR code to canvass with us on Sunday to talk to neighbors and visitors alike on the impact of the 78 development on the surrounding area and how we can use our voice for action that benefits the community! by @cbcacchicago

🥚 Jenny Yang's "Good Egg" was a BLAST. We were so grateful to work with her and co-host such a fantastic show for a great cause. We want to thank Jenny for coming out and making our community laugh and smile during some difficult times.

🗣 CHINATOWN SPOTLIGHT IS HIRING!

☕ With the support of the MacArthur Foundation and Press Forward Chicago, the Coalition for a Better Chinese American Community (CBCAC) launched "Chinatown Spotlight," a local Chinese-language original news project in Chicago last May. We document the lived experiences of Chinese immigrants, explain the local impacts of macro policies, and center on community public interests.

🚊 City Officials don’t seem to think the 78 needs transit. But how are you supposed to get to the development?? Let’s take a look...

🚗 The 78 will eventually hold 22,000 game-goers and 10,000 residential units as well as other Chicagoans visiting the river and enjoying the space. The current infrastructure cannot handle this! We need additional transit options to prevent congestion and allow for smooth travel. by @cbcacchicago
