HOW INSANE IS THIS TRANSFORMATION 🤯🔥

When this gorgeous girl first came to me for help with fat loss, we didn’t jump straight into cutting calories!

Instead we spent our first 4 weeks at maintenance, focusing on building consistency, improving her relationship with food & establishing habits that would actually support her goals long term!

THEN we entered a structured 16-week fat loss phase, where we’ve achieved:

⚡️ 12kg reduction in scale weight
⚡️ 9cm reduction in waist circumference
⚡️ Calories maintained ABOVE 1,900 throughout
⚡️ Training performance, recovery & sustainability prioritised

And THIS is exactly why I don’t believe in rushing the process.

Fat loss isn’t about eating as little as possible or getting the weight off as quickly as you can!!

It’s about creating an appropriate deficit, keeping food as high as practically possible while still progressing, and building the habits that will allow you to MAINTAIN those results once the dieting phase is over.

Because losing the weight is one thing. Having the knowledge, confidence & habits to keep it off is another. 👏🏼

SO bloody proud of the work this girl has put in and even more excited about what we’ve built beyond the physical changes!! 🥹🩷

Fat loss comes down to the principle of ENERGY BALANCE ⚖️🔋

To lose body fat, you need to be in an energy deficit, which means your body needs to be expending more energy than it’s consuming.

And there are TWO sides to that equation:
→ Energy IN: The calories you’re consuming through food & drinks 🌮
→ Energy OUT: The energy your body expends through daily movement, exercise, digestion & simply keeping you alive 👟

The issue is that SO many people jump straight into a fat loss phase without having any idea what their current intake or expenditure actually looks like.

They start eating 1,600 calories because that’s what they saw someone else doing, set themselves a 10–15K step target because apparently that’s the magic number and hope for the best!

But here’s the thing… What works for someone else isn’t necessarily going to work for YOU!

Your energy requirements are individual, so your calorie and activity targets should reflect that too.

And that’s exactly what I want to teach YOU! How to take control of your fat loss and establish your own starting targets based on YOUR body, YOUR activity and YOUR data 🫵

The goal isn’t to eat as little as possible or move as much as possible. It’s to establish an appropriate deficit that you can actually sustain over time 📉

TRACK → ASSESS → ADJUST → REPEAT 🤝

SAVE THIS so you can come back to it when it’s time to reassess your targets. 🩷

**Disclaimer**

- This is a general starting guide, not individualised advice. The adjustments shown won’t be appropriate for everyone, and calorie reductions or activity increases cannot continue indefinitely.
- While this post focuses on calorie intake and activity, adequate protein, resistance training, fibre, sleep and recovery are also important for supporting fat loss while preserving muscle and maintaining overall health. by @cbfit.coaching

A little tough love from your online coach 🫣🩷

You can have the best training program, nutrition plan and coach in the world, but none of it means much if you’re not willing to actually apply the guidance you’re paying for.

And this isn’t about being perfect either! It’s about honesty, communication, being open to feedback and taking accountability for your own progress.

A good coach should be just as invested in your goals as you are. But coaching is a TWO-WAY STREET 🤝

And when both sides show up and put in the work?
That’s where the magic happens ✨ by @cbfit.coaching

Breaking the all-or-nothing mindset is NOT an easy thing to do! 🧠🔄

These are the simple, practical steps I work through with my clients and what has helped me personally break out of that way of thinking.

The biggest thing to remember is that one imperfect moment does not mean an entire day or week is “ruined.”

We can’t control everything life throws at us. The goal isn’t to have perfect days either, it’s to get better at how we respond when things don’t go perfectly 🤍✨

Save this for the next time you need the reminder. by @cbfit.coaching

A few fat loss hot takes I stand by 🫡

There’s a big difference between a plan that gets you lean and a plan that actually teaches you how to achieve sustainable long-term fat loss.

Getting the result matters, but how you get there and what happens after matters too 🤝🏼 by @cbfit.coaching

15 weeks of hard work & mock prep complete 🥹👏🏼

So bloody proud of this girl!! She absolutely ticked every box throughout this phase, even through the hard days and all the mental hurdles that come with pushing your physique somewhere it’s never been before!!

7kg down, 9cm off her waist & the leanest she’s ever been 🤌🏼

The goal of this phase was to get a taste of what a prep consists of and to strip back enough body fat to properly assess the shape and muscle we’ve built. With no plans to step on stage this season, there’s no need to push all the way to true stage conditioning just for the sake of it!

Now it’s time to reverse out, bring food back up and shift our focus towards performance, strength gains and continuing to build sustainable habits moving forwards 🚀🩷 by @cbfit.coaching

16 weeks of showing what consistency can do 👏🏼

9kg down & 10cm off her waist and a completely different physique! Without slashing food or endless cardio ✅

For the majority of this phase she was still eating 1900–2000+ calories per day with no formal cardio.

But my favourite part of this transformation isn’t just the physical change...

It’s seeing her build a much more positive relationship with food, trust the process and realise that fat loss doesn’t need to mean extremes 🫶✨

Just a structured plan, consistency & time 🤝🏼

So proud 🥹🩷 by @cbfit.coaching

This shit takes years not months 🤝

I think sometimes people underestimate how long it takes to build your dream physique…

But this is your reminder you’ll never get there if you give up ✨ by @cbfit.coaching
