Great couple days with the Dorris clan. Hop and Ben went to town on big trout and a few reds. Hops new favorite is the Wine and Dine 6” Dart. Should be in most retail locations this coming week. Today wraps up a great summer week in Baffin and the Upper Laguna. Ended up with 13 over 5lbs up to 7lbs, and countless 3.5-4.5lb fish. It turned on for us finally! Caught a bunch of them on the new stuff we will be launching soon. Excited for the future releases!! Connors fish… yall can give me a guess on size again, not really sure on length. Went about 30lbs on his scale he had. Longest one I’ve seen in a while! Crushed a topwater up shallow, once she was out of the way the trout started biting again😆 Caught on a 6th sense jointed topwater. Talk about a blowup🤣 by @cbguideservice

Man what a fun week it’s been in the new boat! Several 25-27” trout every day this week. Wine and Dine 6” Dart has been pretty lethal. This is a limited color and will be at most retail locations by the end of this week! When they’re gone they’re gone. I’ve already posted this fish, but one of the thicker 30+” fish I’ve caught! No boga or scale with me that day so really have no clue on weight so yall can give me some guesses I’m thinking 9.25-9.5… fish was caught on one of the first trips I ever threw our limited color “Half-Baked”. I knew it was a killer lure from that day on! They will be at retailers this week and next week until they’re all gone!! Charles yesterday with a good one on Half-Baked 6” Dart. This is a limited run fishing show color we are going to have available at retailers this week! If your retail store wants some just give me a message or call. While supplies last!! The show colors won’t last long so get them when you see them. Team Southerly got a 2nd place stringer and 1st place trout day 1 in the Hotter than Hell tournament in Port O’Connor! Super fun tournament and caught a bunch of fish! All our trout were caught on Coastal Brews! First day Pothole Pimp gave them heck and second day Laguna Limeade fooled the fewer trout that we ran into. Not a bad pay day. Thanks to all our sponsors! Huge thanks to Lance Abel with Southerly for running the tournament and keeping us geared up with our boots and apparel. Seems trivial, but Southerly wading pants saved my day, the biting flies were horrible the first day and second day with the pants I never got bit once!🤣 Waterloo Rods, Coastal Brew, Dead Eye Jigs, Bates Reels, Purpose Built Optics, Foreverlast, and Feral Concepts all played a big part of our weekend and have been great products for me all year. Plum Punch Deceiver still paying off sight casting! Couldn’t help myself when this submarine swam right in front of us. She SMOKED it!!! Long fight but fun to see a 38” fish eat it.
