it’s been radio silence for a little while here but recently i’ve fallen back in love with writing and i’ve been so motivated! though ironically not for the story i was initially writing when i set this account up, but rather one i was writing before so… oops 😅 so i’ve been working on that a bit and really getting into that zone, today i wrote just over 1,000 words for it which i’m really happy with! i think i just need to work on the overall plot and character backgrounds next ✍🏻🤍 taken in Coffeeshop Company Cascade by @cbmcluckie

some more writing done yesterday, i went to a new working space with a friend and had the most gorgeous chocolate croissant and passion fruit and grapefruit lemonade which left me feeling so summery 🤍

i started on 3,904 words and ended on 4,979 so added over 1,000 words through various chapters which i’m really happy with as i haven’t written in over a month! i’m looking forward to getting into a proper routine 🥰

today i wrote about 2100 words - i’ve been out of writing despite promising myself i’d make a real effort with it this year because of various reasons, but today i managed to get a bit done and i’m really proud!

not necessarily of what i wrote but that i tried, i made something and was able to get out of my head for a bit - i’ve been watching the winter olympics a lot recently and have been so inspired by the athletes (especially @lindseyvonn whose instagram caption after her race really moved me) and so i wanted to get back into writing! ✍🏻

got slightly drenched on the way to the cafe but i pushed through and rewarded myself with a nice cheese and ham toastie as my brain food for the writing session! by @cbmcluckie

for the first time in a long time i actually feel confident and really into the idea i’ve had so this morning was spent plotting it out and researching at my favourite cafe 🤍

fingers crossed to really nail down a writing routine in the new year so i can dive into this cute lil story 🥰
