Earlier this year an unverified news report had me screaming in the middle of the night… hmm! What a horrible experience.

I thank God for Dr Ben’s life.

Anambra people, please release @drbennwankwo more often, I have missed picking his brain on South East development, Nigeria and leadership principles.

Thank you for the gifts sir! taken in Abuja, Nigeria by @cbnakuma

As the bankers build a resilient economy in an era of disruption, we, the storytellers, must accurately document the work being done, the process, and the impact.

What a wonderful time at the 19th CIBN Annual Banking & Finance Conference.

To a ₦1 trillion economy. 🥂 taken in Abuja, Nigeria by @cbnakuma

K As part of the HERLENS Cohort 1 experience, our facilitators and special guests had the privilege of meeting with the Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, and the First Lady, Priscilla Otti.

The delegation included remarkable creatives who have broken barriers and inspired a generation through their work: Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker and proud Abia son, @kachibenson; travel creator and Guinness World Record holder, @pelumi.nubi , renowned for her historic solo drive from London to Lagos; @cbnakuma , Project and Programmes Manager for HERLENS Cohort 1; and Chinenye Mba-Uzoukwu, Principal Secretary to the Governor and Chief Strategy Officer of Abia State, alongside other dignitaries

The conversation centered on storytelling, creativity, innovation, and the importance of creating opportunities for young people to thrive. It was a powerful reminder that stories have the ability to change lives, shape communities, preserve culture, and inspire a new generation of leaders and changemakers.

For everyone connected to HERLENS, the meeting was a moment of hope and possibility, a reminder that dreams are valid, talent deserves opportunity, and that when creativity meets support, extraordinary things can happen. We are excited about the opportunities and possibilities that may emerge from this engagement and what they could mean for young creatives across Abia State and beyond.

As we reflect on this experience, we charge every storyteller, regardless of gender, to continue telling meaningful stories, embracing new opportunities, and using their creativity to amplify voices, inspire change, and build stronger communities.

Dream boldly. Create fearlessly. Stay committed to your craft.

The world needs your voice, and the future belongs to those who are courageous enough to pursue their vision and dedicated enough to turn it into lasting impact. by @cbnakuma

So,
One day few months ago, @anichography met a young boy at Ariaria Market selling wares while playing the ọjà. She took his number and simply hoped there would someday be an opportunity for him.

Yesterday, that same boy led the procession from the graduation hall to the exhibition space, leading Her Excellency @adaezechideraemetu , commissioners, dignitaries, guests, and an entire room full of people through sound, culture, and presence.

Boy!
It became one of the most beautiful and memorable parts of the entire event.
I’m so happy we made that choice. 🤍

He is not online, I cannot tag him. However, he has a wonderful manager, his dad, who said thank you over 50times and is just so proud of his boy child. I can connect you to them. Please reach out whenever.

Sound used here is from @amarachi_attamah . Had him play this composition as a personal wink to you❤️ by @cbnakuma
