I am so thankful for this guy. He taught me how to “see work”, fish when it “makes sense that they would bite”, and trust him when he was driving and I was skiing, “you know the signals- use them.” He loved my boys better than he loved me and I can’t thank him enough for that. But more than anything he taught me to know Jesus. Thank you, dad. I’m grateful that I’ll know you again one day. Hug Tristan for me. by @cboots618

Our little “Dancing Queen” had her first recital and she did an amazing job. It’s our first experience in the world of dance and wow, there are some athletic girls out there in the older groups who have clearly worked hard for many years. It was fun to experience a whole new world. Proud of tiny J and her super cute co-dancers in their ladybug fits. by @cboots618

I love this plant. His name is Alan. My mom got him as a gift when my dad (Alan Andringa) died. At that time (20 years ago this year) it was just a tiny plant, but since then it grew into a gorgeous tree. About a year ago, in her Alzheimer’s state, my mom wanted to be rid of it. I told her I would come and pick it up, but when I arrived it was laying beside the garage, out of its pot and withering with just a few roots, which were totally exposed. As you can see, Alan has made a pretty impressive comeback. He’s built of tough stuff. I love to walk past this plant when I wake up each morning and remember that we are all resilient. All we need is a little dirt and sunshine, (and a good drink every now and then). Thank you, God for choosing to continuously make all things new, and showing us that promise even in Alzheimer’s and neglected plants. by @cboots618
