Origami Bird designed by me.
It’s been a long time since I last posted. I’ve been busy the last year, but I’ll be posting more origami over the summer. The last picture is a comparison of the first version of this origami to the latest one. Also, most of my designing knowledge comes from the videos of @theplantpsychologist , so thank you so much to him for making design lessons! by @cborigami

I finally did it. I designed an origami sword.

A bit of backstory: I have been planning to design an origami samurai ever since I saw @jkonkkola_origami ‘s and @origamibyboice ‘s origami samurai(samurais? What’s the plural of samurai). However, I wanted mine to be different by having a unique sword, and wanted to have a more rounded appearance( not as rigid as other samurai). I will be using a strategy I haven’t used before: folding in parts. I fold one part of the body, get its cp, and rinse and repeat for other parts of the origami. Then I pack all of the CPs onto a single piece of paper and figure out how they all fit together. by @cborigami

It’s been quite some time since I last posted, but it was because I was making this: the Ryujin 1.2. This was my first Ryujin, and I am hoping to build up to the 2.1 and 3.5 by the end of the year.

I decided to ( finally) make modular geometric origami. Tell me what you think!
Also, I’m confused on how this is not a flower. It’d make a great flower.
