Hey hey friends, This video is me in my first week of yoga training and I am now 4 weeks away from being a certified yoga instructor… ayyyeee! As most of you know, movement, wellness, education, and the arts have always been a part of my journey, and now I’m adding another chapter…being a yogi lol! With just 4 weeks left of my yoga teacher training, I’ve learned that this practice is about so much more than poses. It’s about mindfulness, self-discovery, growth, and learning to embrace stillness. Even as an educator, I will forever be a student! A special shoutout to the founder, Javi, and the amazing team at Holistically Whole Yoga School for creating such an intentional and empowering learning experience. I’m truly grateful for this journey and all that I’m learning! As I prepare for my final certification project, I’ll be hosting a 60-minute virtual yoga workshop, and I’d love for you to join me! More details to come! Interested? Drop a 🧘🏾‍♀️ below or send me a message. by @cc.calhoun

I don’t post my love often, but since it’s Woman Crush Wednesday, I figured I’d show her off lol. My love, my best friend, my safe space, and the woman who continues to remind me how beautiful it is to love and be loved. Look at me being a sap lol. Not everything beautiful needs to be shared with the world, but today I just wanted to take a moment to celebrate my boo thang… my fiancé 😜❤️. Happy #WomanCrushWednesday to my forever crush! @shirazetteshebeatstinnin 📸 @ratedrian #love #blacklove #lesbianlove #wcw by @cc.calhoun

Pittsburgh, come OUT and move with us! I’m excited to be part of OUTfest 2026, presented by the City of Pittsburgh’s LGBTQIA+ Commission! As a co-chair of the Commission, it means so much to help create spaces where our LGBTQIA+ community, families, friends, and allies can come together in celebration, wellness, creativity, and JOY. Shout out to Julian, Donny, Corey, and the whole commission for planning this amazing event! I’ll be leading a FREE 40-minute Zumba class at 3 PM — all bodies, all levels, and all moves are welcome. Just come ready to move and have FUN! Constantly Creating, my small business, will also be in the building with a family-friendly craft table, giving our kiddos and families a chance to tap into their creativity throughout the day. Join us Sunday, October 11 from 11 AM–4 PM at Schenley Plaza in Oakland. The entire event is FREE and open to the public! Come for the community. Come for the movement. Come create with us. As a proud Point Park University alumna, earning both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees there, I’m honored to return and serve as a panelist for Building Communities: Perspectives on Creating Connection and Belonging. And what better topic for me than community! So much of my work as an educator, creative, and community engagement professional has been rooted in bringing people together, creating spaces where people feel seen and connected, and reminding us that we all have something valuable to contribute. I’m looking forward to sharing my experiences, learning alongside the other panelists, and connecting with Point Park students around a subject that means so much to me. Thank you to Dr. McCort and the Point Park Honors program for the opportunity, it is appreciated!
