THE MOVEMENT HAS BEGUN.

For too long, California’s small universities have been overlooked, and have fought for recognition, meaningful competition, and a bigger stage.

Today, that changes.

Not by replacing what’s already there, but by creating something better.

The California Collegiate Alliance (CCA) isn’t another conference. It isn’t another association. It is a new standard, built to unite institutions, elevate student-athletes, create authentic rivalries, tell untold stories, and crown champions.

This is where competition meets collaboration. Where exposure creates opportunity. Where every game has purpose.

The future of small university athletics in California isn’t coming.

It’s already here.

More meaningful competition. More exposure. More rivalries. More opportunities to compete for championships. A platform where every institution has a voice and every student-athlete has a stage.

This isn’t about being the biggest.
It’s about building something that matters.

The next chapter of small university athletics in California starts now.

One State. One Alliance. One Champion.

🚨 THE ALLIANCE HAS ARRIVED🚨

Something different has emerged in California.

Not another conference.
Not another association.

A movement built on purpose.

Today, six California small universities officially unite to launch the California Collegiate Alliance (CCA), THE ALLIANCE: a first-of-its-kind collective created to redefine opportunity for student-athletes and elevate institutions that deserve a bigger stage.

The Alliance exists for one reason:

To ensure every student-athlete has access to meaningful competition, greater visibility, and championship opportunities.

Instead of allowing seasons to be defined by isolated schedules, THE ALLIANCE creates something greater. a connected competitive experience fueled by official standings, powerful storytelling, media exposure, and championship moments that give every game greater meaning.

This isn’t about replacing conferences.

It’s about strengthening California’s small universities through collaboration rather than competition with one another, creating a platform where institutions rise together while maintaining their own identities.

This is a commitment to innovation.

A commitment to recognition.

A commitment to the student-athlete experience.

The California Collegiate Alliance is believed to be the nation’s first alliance of its kind dedicated exclusively to uniting small universities under a collaborative model centered on meaningful competition, visibility, and championship experiences.

This is only the beginning.

One State. One Alliance. One Champion.

Welcome to THE ALLIANCE.
