i can’t believe the time has finally come. after years of hard work, studying, assignments, tests, and tears, I GRADUATED COLLEGE! it has not been an easy journey but i am beyond proud of myself for this accomplishment. i couldn’t have done this without the support from my amazing friends and family, as well as my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. my incredible mother likes to say that God does not give her signs, but rather uses a 2x4, as in smacks her in the face with 2x4 piece of wood. i most definitely experienced this phenomenon this weekend through the verse Proverbs 3:5-6. as we all know, i am a procrastinator. as i was decorating my graduation cap the night before i walked the stage, i made a last minute decision to have this verse be the one i put on my cap. coincidentally, the beautiful graduation gift my mom got for me, had the same Proverb engraved on the back. and again, the card my aunt gave me, had this verse printed inside. i will never fail to be mesmerized by how the Lord works! for those that aren’t familiar with the verse, it reads “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” it is such a beautiful verse, and will surely stick with me to the end. overall, i am beyond grateful for my experience with Tarleton and all that came with it, but i am so happy to be done! GO TEXANS💜🤍
