Introducing #MidweekMoves⭐️—our weekly series highlighting the amazing internships, jobs, and career experiences our members are taking on this summer. Kicking things off with Blaire! ✨

“Hi, I’m Blaire Latham! I’m so grateful to be spending my summer as a Marketing & Publicity Intern at BMG in Nashville @thenewbmg ! This internship has given me the opportunity to learn what goes on behind the scenes of the music industry. From assisting with marketing campaigns and publicity efforts to seeing how artist releases come to life, every day has taught me something new.

BMG represents an incredible roster of artists including Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Dustin Lynch, and so many more. One of the biggest highlights of my internship has been helping with CMA Fest. Getting to be part of such an iconic event and seeing everything that goes into bringing artists and fans together has been an experience I’ll always be thankful for.

As a Journalism & Media major with an Advertising & Public Relations minor, my goal is to build a career in what I like to call SPAM, social media, public relations, advertising, and marketing. Because of that, this internship has been such an incredible learning experience. I’ve been able to see how all of those pieces work together in the real world, and it’s only made me more excited about the career I hope to build after graduation.

This experience has confirmed that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me!”
