Wasn’t ready to post this but I know a lot of people knew Canute so it’s only right.

I can say so much but if you know Junior (Canute) then you know. If y’all know us and know how close knit my family is, then you know how much pain this brings us.

Thank you my older brother for showing me life through a different lens. Thank you for showing me what enjoying life really meant. Thank you for the endless nights of laughter and love. Thank you for not ever letting anybody get out of line with us. Thank you for taking care of us when Mom and Dad worked. Thank you bringing me out of comfort zone.

I lost a part of me today. I will miss you my brother. God needed a soldier. Hope he’s ready for the good time that comes with that. Heaven will shine a little brighter now! Rest In Power My brother.

Part 1: This is 42

Last week was nothing short of amazing! A Nor’easter cancelled our flight to Miami and put my birthday cruise in jeopardy, but with a lady and friends like mine, nothing was stopping us! We rented a van, drove 24 hours from Boston to Miami, and made it with time to spare!

Then we boarded @royalcaribbean Wonder of the Seas, and the celebration only got better!

Huge shoutout to my lady for planning this entire trip from beginning to end. You truly made this birthday special with all the little details, thought, and love you put into everything. Your effort did not go unnoticed!

And to my framily who came along, thank you for making the memories even better and this trip one I’ll never forget!

I’m beyond grateful for another year, another adventure, and the people who genuinely love and support me. Thank God for 42! 🙏🏾

Brixton has no idea how grateful I am to be his father. Every moment, every sacrifice, and every challenge is worth it. Being his Dad is one of the greatest blessings of my life, and I never take it for granted. I’ll continue to work hard to provide for him, guide him, and help create opportunities that make his path a little easier than mine was.

To all the fathers out there, just keep showing up. Be present and give your children the best of yourself. Our kids may not remember every sacrifice we make, but they will remember that we were there.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, stepdads, father figures, and men doing their best every day.

Happy Birthday, Brixton! Today we’re celebrating you! The smartest, most loving, creative, and compassionate boy we know! From the moment you came into our lives, you’ve been filling every day with laughter, wonder, and so much love.

Your imagination is incredible, your heart is so big, and the way you care about others makes us so proud. Whether you’re building something amazing, asking the most thoughtful questions, or just being your sweet, silly self, you light up every room you’re in.

Day 1 of Taekwondo! I can’t wait to see how he grows over the next few months. He’s a fast learner and follows direction pretty well for his age. He did go a little off at the end of the video though and he’s already practicing his moves on me 😂 by @cchiverton

My alarm was set for 5:45AM. He woke me up at 5:30AM 😩…The excitement and joy is in face makes it all worth it. He’s probably not going to enjoy these early mornings for long but we’ll take it for now! School bus pulled up, he hopped on and didn’t look back at us not once, not even a wave through the window 😂 Today, he felt like flexing his muscles for the pics. Happy First Day of Kindergarten my Son-shine!

Heavenly Father, I lift up my son, all students, and their teachers. Bless the children with joy, courage, and kindness as they learn and grow. Give teachers patience, wisdom, and strength as they guide and care for each little one. Surround the classrooms with peace, safety, and love, and let this year be filled with light and learning. Every day, I wake up with one goal: to give my son the best life I possibly can. It’s not always easy. Some days are heavy, and the sacrifices are real, but I’d do it all over again without hesitation. Being a father isn’t just about providing, it’s about being present, showing up with love, patience, and strength, even on the days when I feel like I have nothing left.

Brixton may not fully understand it now, but one day he’ll look back and know that I gave everything; time, energy, prayers, and love—just to see him smile, feel safe, and grow into the man he’s meant to be. Until then, I’ll keep showing up, no matter what. Brixton, I love you son!

And to my Dad (last slide), thank you for making me the man that I am. Thank you for the sacrifices and for always cheering me on (even now). You paved the way and I’m forever grateful.

Shout out to all my fellow present active Dad’s. The ones really in the trenches. The Dad’s actually spending time with their child(ren).

My boy is officially 5 years old! He chose a soccer theme and wore his favorite soccer player on his back, Ronaldo! The last 5 years have been nothing short of amazing. My boy is smart, loving, caring, considerate and rambunctious all at the same time 😂 He definitely keeps us on our toes! I love this life.
