Attention PXU families, beginning Friday, August 25, we will begin enforcing a clear bag protocol at all PXU athletic events. PXU adopted this protocol to enhance public safety at our venues and provide a great game day experience by making our sports complexes more accessible while providing added security measures at our events.

This protocol aligns with the efforts of professional sports teams, Arizona State University, Mesa Public Schools, the Tempe Union High School District, and many other entities to provide safe spaces for spectators to enjoy sporting events in person.

Senior Ken Do represented CCHS at the World Youth Forum x International Academic Decathlon in Macau, China amongst 20 other Arizona students. Ken individually earned Gold in Art, Music, and Social Science, Silver in Literature and Science, and Bronze in Economics. His team placed first in speech, Bronze in Super Quiz, and 2nd place overall at the competition.

Beginning this year, our Learning & Development (L&D) Days will have a new format. These are no longer asynchronous or virtual days when students work from home. ALL students are required to attend school in person, and attendance will be recorded.
Our first L&D Day is Wednesday, August 26. Students will participate in advisory rotations designed to provide additional academic support, intervention, and tutoring for students who need help in their classes. We are also working to develop enrichment opportunities for students who are performing well and ready for additional learning experiences.
Attendance is required for all students, regardless of their academic performance. Students who do not attend will be marked absent. Students will be dismissed early on L&D Days. Please review the attached bell schedule and transportation information for dismissal and bus details.

Hey Champions! We are excited to welcome you back August 3rd! The first day of school, freshmen begin class at 7:30, while all other grades begin class at 10:15. The regular bell schedule will start on August 4th. See you soon! by @cchschampions

Registration is ongoing and open! This can be done online at PXU.org/enroll or come see us on campus. In addition to the weekdays, we are also open Saturday, July 25, and Saturday, August 1 from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM to assist with registration. by @cchschampions

Students with Last Names A-M will attend Wednesday, July 22nd
Students with Last Names N-Z will attend Thursday, July 23rd

Parent Meeting Both Days 11:00am - 12:00pm in the CCHS Auditorium
Freshmen, make sure you wear comfortable shoes and bring a refillable water bottle. No backpacks and purses allowed.
NOTE: Parents, please drop off students by 7:45am and pick them up at the conclusion of the parent meeting at 12:00pm.
