whether you’re crying in the club or on the streetcar home, a good public bawl is always an act of self-care — but not all crying spots are built equally.

in her feature for The Club Issue, @ccmmaaa guides us through her tear list (spelled intentionally) of public crying spots. specific love goes to @roostercoffee, which apparently has all the gluten-free amenities you need to properly open up in front of total strangers.

you heard it here, the Sims is a cult. in fact, it might be the only one where you can truly play God. ⛧

@priyapoutine talked to @ccmmaaa at our cover shoot about her 20+ years as a Sims acolyte and she told us about the cultiness of the entire community.

that’s a direct @ccmmaaa quote, straight from the guide she wrote for our Cult Issue on starting your own cult. if the Sims isn’t giving you the dopamine rush you need, worship and blind faith from a flock of followers might be just what you need and this is the playbook.

Cris covers all the important bases: from figuring out your niche, to picking your grift, getting the media to bless you with a sick cult name, growing your flock (#alwaysbeclosing), and staying out of jail. she makes the ethics clear too—don’t start a sex cult and only scam the bourgeois, duhhh.

beyond Lore, Cris is live laugh loving in the world of paid media, arguably a cult of its own. 👀
