On Monday, our Ambassadors gathered for one of our favorite traditions—Dinner with the Dean! 🤍We are so thankful for the incredible faculty and staff who pour into us and support our growth as students and ambassadors for the Capstone College of Nursing. It was a night filled with celebration, laughter, and camaraderie at The University Club (and amazing food, of course!).We can’t wait to continue this tradition next semester! by @ccnambassadors

Our next December graduate we would like to highlight is Remie Russell🩺💕Remie will be working on a mother baby unit! Remie says that “One thing CCN has taught me is to appreciate everything while you’re going through it. Our next December graduate we would like to highlight is Abigail Russell🩺💕She will be working in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL! Abigail says that “CCN has taught me that confidence doesn’t appear overnight. It’s built over time by showing up on the days you feel overwhelmed, pushing forward when you’re exhausted, and choosing growth over comfort again and again. Being an ambassador was one of the greatest honors of this journey, and it gave me purpose, support, and a community that carried me through the hardest moments. I am excited to step into this next chapter carrying everything I’ve learned, ready to serve, continue growing, and embrace what comes next.🤍”Abigail we wish you the best of luck! Our next December graduate we’d like to spotlight is our very own Emily Jackson! 🎓✨Emily will be commissioning into the Army as a 2nd Lieutenant and serving as an Army Nurse! She plans on specializing in Labor and Delivery! Emily said that One thing CCN has taught her is “that we are all more capable than we realize/ give ourselves credit for! It’s so easy to develop a case of imposter syndrome and feel like we don’t belong or are incapable of succeeding but that is absolutely not true! CCN has more than prepared us to be the best nurses we can be with amazing faculty, staff, and resources! I am so thankful to have chosen the Capstone College of Nursing!”We are so excited for you Emily! You have worked so hard!💕 by @ccnambassadors

Our next December graduate we would like to highlight is Trent Caime! 🖤🩺 He will be working in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.Trent says the CCN “has taught me the importance of pushing forward despite any obstacles or challenges that are presented. Each day brings its own tests, but I’ve learned that dwelling on past mistakes only hinders future growth. Setting goals and staying consistent has shaped me into a stronger, more well-rounded person and future nurse. I’m incredibly grateful for the relationships, experiences, and support the CCN has provided me, and I’m excited to carry these lessons into the next chapter of my life.”Trent! Our first December graduate we’d like to spotlight is our very own Ashley Gattis! 🎓✨ Ashley will be starting her nursing career in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit in Huntsville, Alabama.Ashley shared that CCN “has shown me the value of loving people well and serving with a genuine heart. Through the guidance of my instructors, the support of sweet friends, the honor of being an ambassador, and the experiences that shaped my CCN journey, I feel confident and grateful.
