🇨🇦🎧 Canada Day in Toronto… but make it TECHNO.

If you think Canada Day is only fireworks and crowded parks, let us show you a completely different side of Toronto.

This year, we spent Canada Day dancing at a techno party in downtown Toronto, surrounded by incredible music, lights, and people who were all there for the same reason—to celebrate, let loose, and enjoy the energy of the city.

One of our favorite things about Toronto is that there’s always something happening. Whether you’re into festivals, concerts, rooftop parties, food events, cultural celebrations, or underground electronic music, there’s truly something for everyone every single week.

The atmosphere at this party was unreal. Deep bass echoing through the venue, hypnotic lights, nonstop dancing, and that feeling where you completely lose track of time because you’re just living in the moment. It reminded us why Toronto’s nightlife has such a great reputation.

It was one of those nights where you barely touched your phone because you were too busy enjoying everything happening around you. (Thankfully, we still managed to capture a few clips. 😅)

One thing we love about events like this is how many different people you meet. Locals, visitors, longtime techno fans, and people experiencing their first electronic music event all come together to share the same dance floor. Everyone is there to have a good time, and that creates such a unique atmosphere that’s hard to describe until you’ve experienced it yourself.

If you’ve never experienced a techno event before, don’t let the genre intimidate you. Every event has its own vibe, and sometimes all it takes is going with the right people to discover a whole new side of the city.

We are always looking for unique events around the GTA, so if you enjoy seeing hidden gems, festivals, local experiences, and things to do in Toronto and Ontario, you’re in the right place.
