The lettermark for @vanessatolk’s new brand, 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘴 𝘚𝘺𝘮𝘣𝘰𝘭, was inspired by the double ‘S’ in the wordmark I originally designed for her namesake filmmaking identity. Carrying over the same sharp, sans-serif letterform worked out well for the new brand. Always such a treat getting to collaborate with @vanessatolk! by @ccruth

Met the talented Jennifer Laiwint at a @slownight.art community event and was instantly inspired by her journey into the art world. She's an interdisciplinary artist with a diverse body of work, so I designed a visual identity and website that could adapt to and elevate each unique project. The final wordmark uses the Brulia typeface by That That Fonts—a variable ink trap font that ties into the idea of "visual closure", a theme echoed in many of Jennifer’s projects. Each design choice—from color to typography—was made to support her vision and engage grant panels, curators, and fellow creatives. by @ccruth

Packaging design is an area I love exploring more and more. The founder of @aureastudio.co, @sara___rossetto, had a clear vision for her natural skincare brand. For the design and fabrication of the boxes, we collaborated closely with @therealprintedpage of @flashreproductions to achieve the quality and finish we envisioned. We wanted the brand’s minimal yet luxurious feel to come through in both texture and colour. Since the product vessels are made of glass, we needed a paper with enough structure. The final result was achieved using 150# Mohawk Superfine with an eggshell texture and black foil stamping for the logo. taken in Toronto, Canada by @ccruth
